OK, it's not F1 related, but for anyone who likes cars it's a rather nice video of Ken Block driving a fiesta in a commercial. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=btViXvIDsi0
Keep it on clutch control, and keep checking the mirrors, like Massa in India. You will be fine, think "smooth drive".
haha I got 6 minors when I passed my test I can remember 3 of them - one was for doing something wrong on a roundabout - one was for speeding and I think I am the only person ever to get this as a fault - one was for being to reliant on my mirrors?!?!
I got told that on any other day I'd have caused a massive accident (and in the driving instructors words - and killed someone) on my test. Because he couldn't prove without doubt though that I hadn't checked my mirrors before changing lanes on a junction (I had anyway), they let me pass, giving me 3 minors for the incident. I also know someone who got hit by a lorry on her test (not her fault at all) and failed their test for it, and someone else who drove out of the test centre, got caught in traffic at a standstill for 40 minutes, then was told to turn around and return to the test centre, who somehow passed. Driving tests are a funny beast!
You or the test? (!) When reversing, keep the speed as slow as possible. Make tiny (and I mean TINY) adjustments with your steering wheel, so that you notice the effect it has before making any further inputs on the wheel. If it still goes wrong, do not panic. Keep a clear head. If you have run out of space to make further connections whilst still reversing, go forwards again until you have the necessary space; take another deep breath and work through it again. And good luck!
I took my first test when I was 16 living in miami, turned up at the test centre and got my 'theory' test 30 mins later, 100% pass, went back 3 days later and took it on a track, did allthe manoevures perfectly first time (you get 3 chances at each), after I'd done the last, reversing around a corner, the examiner told me to drive back to the centre, I instantly pulled into the left, and he had to failed me, even though I'd passe it. Retook it at a different centre a couple of days later, passed it and drove off, at the first junction I pulled into the left lane and nearly had a head on with a lorry.
Don't know how this got to be about driving tests, well done for passing anyway. Back on topic, not all that impressed by Ken Block, it's just some cheap trick you can see at any chav car cruise and all his videos are basicly the same. I think that this is much better example of a rally driver doing what a rally driver does..... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jFlSG9_Ue4A&feature=colike
There use to be a Kart race through the streets of peel, I always wanted to enter but never had the money (250's too damn expensive) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nSDBjDZVfcU
