no shots !! but only 1 goal down the team sheet from ROD .. the vulture looking bird of prey with dangly legs looks like puzzle picture ... you get 4 heads 4 bodies 4 sets of wings 4 tails and 4 dangly things ... you have to put the right bits together to make 4 well known birds...................... Bird of prey, a robin, a magpie and a vulture ....
One of the poorest games I have seen in years and after Huddersfield that is a true damnation of our performance and the result. Most of the players on the pitch have to face themselves and admit they were second best to their opponents all night long but the biggest disappointment for me was the return of City's past misdemeanours and poor decisions when on the ball. Taylor-Clarke was bright and full of energy when he came on and it was nice to see the young lad look as if he belongs at the top table, other than that I could have gone outside and watched the grass grow and have more fun.
Much better in 2nd half which wasn’t difficult.. Got what we deserved imo.. lacking in quality tonight.. As I said after Cardiff game.. Season over, time to field some youngsters and have a rethink for next season..
Could make excuses, injuries, small squad, new players yet to gel, fatigue, youngsters, can't be bothered or we just are not good enough, leave it up to you, I just think we played crap, bad night, I don't care, I still LUV EM!!!!
Playing 4th in the league away is always going to be tough, add to that our lack of squad depth, with injuries 1-0 isn’t a bad result. However we were poor, especially first half. The positive for me is the way we fought and didn’t give up. Earlier in the season we’d have been hammered.
A place we seldom do well at in recent years, and the possible added factor that for us it was already an end of season game, the players should be at least playing for pride. For the younger squad members, this season has seen them come on in leaps and bounds, so I hope they look back on this performance and try to do better next time and learn from it.
