Oh absolutely, quality player. I don't think our loans have been terrible, it's clear that Rosenior wants our best players to be contracted ones and not rely on having a great player that then goes somewhere else at the end of the season.
Not a bad performance overall against the best team in the league, just a couple of bad errors and a fantastic cross. I have a feeling Burnley will find life in the premiership difficult despite how strong they have been this season.
The sky commentators are spot on tbh, Burnley have been clinical when they have had chances presented to them, were as we have fluffed our lines, we've had enough chances just not taken them. That said they've been head and shoulders above us tonight, and with that we finally stick one away woohoo lol
I imagine Kompany will go, their best players will then follow him and they'll struggle. But they're in that loop again of getting PL money, selling players on and investing in the squad.
Satisfying. Very satisfying. He's been good since he came on tufan. Cut out some of the stoopid errors and this could've been a different result.

Tella would probably get about 6-7 goals all season for us. He’d probably be injured for 3 months of the season too. He’s got 17 for Burnley because they’re a million times better than us. Probably one of the strongest teams to piss the Championship in a while. Some solid players like Guðmundsson, Cork, Taylor, Brownhill etc. who were in the Prem with them, with some very good additions from Belgium and Man City’s academy due to Kompany’s links. Tella probably had a dozen Championship clubs asking Southampton to loan him but he went to Burnley because they had the best base and competent people in charge of the rebuild. Our rebuild has been very haphazard. Some decent additions but not enough cohesion between coaching staff and ownership in the summer regarding recruitment. You ever hear about Burnley’s owners doing lots of fancy gimmicks and free holidays? No, they just trust Kompany to handle the football side of things and let him know if they can afford his transfer targets or not.
