I'm confused. Angry people wanted out of Europe and gave up freedom of movement to do it. Now the same people are angry again, because they seem to think the 15 minute town will stop their freedom of movement.

Not angry , suspicious of governments that like taxing you to make the sun less hotterer & locking us in Hunger games districts .
I voted Brexit and I don't even know what the argument is against 15 minutes cities, other than conspiracy theories which seem mostly based around traffic management. We all use to live in 15 minute cities without even thinking about it, remembering the days when there was a boozer on the corner of every street, every town/village had a post office and some form of supermarket, the local farmer distributed their market goods. I'd love the return to areas/squares 15 mins from home where communities can get together and socialise. In regards to traffic management, if everything is within walking distance I'm not seeing the problem, as long as there is a good public transport network to support it, for when we travel outside our home zones.
Stalin was initially keen on a pact with Britain. Neville Chamberlain however was against it and went to great lengths to ensure it didn't happen. The Soviets feared a German attack and therefore did a deal with Hitler. Barbarossa sealed Hitler's fate, a huge error poking the bear.
Grandad was a Commie, Dad was a Socialist. I would classify myself as a Social Democrat. Stalin saved Germany. Had it not been for Russia Berlin would be twinned with Hiroshima.
