His comment: "On a personal level, the racial abuse I received is something that no player or person should ever have to experience. We need to be better, and this is bigger than just football. More needs to be done to prevent this from happening time and time again."

It's on all of us. We need to call it out every time we hear it, even (perhaps particularly) if it's a friend, no matter how uncomfortable the conversation.

Funny at first glance I thought it was a poor save and he was lucky to keep it out as he should have gotten a stronger palm to it. When watching it again it l realise I was completely wrong and it was a superb save... I noticed he looked like a player with the world on his shoulders from his demeanor early on but by the end he looked much more confident in himself. Hopefully a turning point in his Saints career

It's the bounce just in front of him that makes it a fantastic save. Got a bit of luck as it could have gone anywhere after it hit the post but he earned it.

Great result yesterday, shows how far we have come that many of us are disappointed in a draw.

Things are starting to click and as others have said I can only see this team getting better and better, they are finally showing some of the quality we know they have.

We will largely see a reasonably settled team from now on, especially at the back. Obviously games come think and fast and players may need to come off after 60 mins to keep them fresh for the next game.

We all wonder why someone comes off if they are doing well and why we bring on X player instead of Y, but I think we can all agree that by and large we know nothing and the results are starting to show that RS knows what he is doing.

I read that Bergkamp used to be bitterly angry when Wenger regularly subbed him after 70 minutes of excellent play. Then Wenger showed him some stats that showed how his running speed dropped off a cliff around then.

Sometimes you need to replace someone for reasons you can't see in the stands.

While we’re quoting Arsenal legends, Tony Adams said that the best defenders he ever saw were Kevin Keegan and Kenny Dalglish*, because they pressed so hard, and so persistently, that they gave opposition defenders hardly even enough time to breathe.

I know Adam Armstrong has been a disappointment since we signed him, but I understand why he is brought on with 15 mins to go. Same with Longy. Sometimes you just need a guy who plays like he’s got a rocket up his arse. Makes the opposition defensive line need to stay that little bit deeper etc.

*Or maybe it was Ian Rush. Can’t quite recall.

Yeah I agree - on Sunday the commentators were giving us praise for our overall play, but they seemed to say Man U had too many sloppy passes. That was down to us and our pressing from the front. Press well and the opposition team tend to make more sloppy passes. Funny that.

You'd like to think United might just make a comment, but that's probably asking too much...

The thing is, all the attention that is given to these f*cking trolls, just encourages them to do it more. So it's really a no-win situation. Although it's morally the right thing to do (what you suggest), it won't change anything. There rats will just continue to do it.

It will literally never stop, until social media companies find a way to block spam accounts, or celebrities stop making themselves so accessible to the general public.

The scumbag who racially abused Toney has been banned from every football stadium in the UK for 3 years, plus banned from travelling abroad to watch football, and given a suspended prison sentence.

This hopefully sets the bar for those who abused KWP and ABK on Sunday.

From what I saw it was mainly Brazilian kids that were the culprits, so there'll be no comeback from the FA or PL, sadly. There was one British idiot as well, so there is that. It's just so sad that people seem to think it acceptable in 2023. Idiots.

Comes back to the FF goalkeeping theme. He was a great keeper behind a great defence. Baz improves because he is behind a better defence. Confidence works both ways. If he is not worried about defenders have a brain fart, he can concentrate on his own game. It’s a team game.
