It was something like April and there was a mad five minute snow flurry that looked great under the floodlights. I was pulled to pieces on RTG, from people who didn't remember it, but eventually found a mention in a report from the Times of all places.

The match sticks in my mind because I was sacked for going. It fell on the night of our managers meeting with the MD and accountant so I was given an ultimatum ....

Looked at the weather yday. Looked absolutely brutal. We should carry some confidence from the game on Sunday. Legs maybe heavy as that's the hardest I have seen us work as a unit, covering the first 10-20 mins at full intensity.

    Score draw from me.

    A win of course.

Also I would start with the same 11.

The blades have been flying, but atm ate worried about the smoggies on their tails.

The mutants want us to win.

4 4 2 with Roberts in particular improving his defending.

2 -0 us Gelhardt and Clarke to score

Thought I was the only one to notice that, we carried Roberts for 80 minutes in that game and its not the first, should really have been subbed .

    Great thread as always, thanks.

I am not normally one for adjusting formations to counter the opposition but here I would be tempted. They are really strong in the middle with Norwood Berge and Mcatee. Probably as strong a centre mid as there is in the league to be honest. They also have a left wing back who I have always rated very highly in Max Lowe. Will get up and down all day and puts in great balls. I would be tempted to match up with Hume and Clarke as wing backs and Gooch an extra man in midield. I would try and make it a game about the wing backs. Gelhardt and Ba up front again. Roberts to drop out but could be a brilliant pair of fresh legs after 60 mins. Just a thought, Mowbray will have his own plan and after Sunday I am sure it will be a good one.

That is a great shout, what a lip smacking substitution that could be, Roberts and Amad coming on against tiring legs.

What the hells happened to Cirkin? Bit worrying if he's still suffering from concussion mind.

Its a real worry, and that thug of a keeper should be charged with GBH by the club but my real concern is for Cirkin and his well being that has to be the priority.e
