Personally i want nothing to do with the English league that ****ing league will never be able to sustain such flamboyant spending and if we did go down no doubt we'd end up back in scotland cause the league went into administration.

Does he? He told me once he was from South Yorkshire near Barnsley, as a matter of fact. <ok>

Anyway, so what if he did come from Leeds? And why did you ignore my lascivious PM the other day, you cruel man? :(

We need them more than they need us, but that doesn't mean to say we wouldn't be a positive addition to their league. Currently the squads are nowhere near good enough to compete, but £35m a season TV money would immediately set the likes of Celtic above Spurs in turnover, it would take a few years but the big two Scottish clubs would compete for the league.

The media over hype the sectarian thing as well, every time Arsene Wenger and Ferguson have a spat it's not called sectarianism, every time it happens between a Celtic employee and a Rangers one the media go on hyper-drive about Scotland's social ills.

No chance,a bit of tv money would not get them near the likes of the mancs or £helsea, maybe would be where Liverpool are at best.

I was thinking more along the lines of Wolves/Bolton in time and with some significant development work put in.

Mick, you're being disingenuous about the sectarian issues, analogy is completely inept.

I agree with Mike, Celtic would have every plastic paddy in the world supporting them, they'd soon attract rich backers wanting a slice of the action. Then millions around the world would get to see them venting their sectarian hatred at us English and unfurling their vile politics on banners for all the world to see. That's why they must never be allowed to join the Premier League, they must be kept where they are: the arse end of nowhere.

<laugh> You say this the same day when one of the biggest teams in the EPL has it's fans investigated for racist chanting and the captain of your country also accused of racism. <doh>

I can think of two clubs in Manchester who certainly would not welcome Rangers.

Two? What the **** has it got to do with the camera clicking twats from Essex?
They should merge the SPL with the championship and regionalise the other leagues similar to the way the conference works

I would welcome both to England but they would have to start off in the Blue Square Premier.

He's probably assuming that there will be an increase in attendance for Celtic aswell? Plus Celtic would probably sell more kits, unless because they'd be unlikely to get into the CL they would actually lose fans instead of gaining them. Its a dilemma for Celtic and Rangers, if they move south they'll be able to build a better team with higher quality players but they'd also lose their status as giants of the game in all likelihood.

Given the same revenue as the EPL clubs, after at least 10 seasons, they'd (Celtic n Rangers) be top 6 easy!

C'mon you're country has a bit of responsibility in this mess, if you hadn't of divided and conquered we'd probably all love each other up here. The least you can do for 800 years of bawbaggery is let us play football with you.
