Oh dear - probably in a bit of bother over this . https://inews.co.uk/sport/football/efl-watford-transfer-hassane-kamara-udinese-2198188 Surprised it’s taken so long to come up - people thought the deal was a bit suspect .
Send him back to Udinese as Sema would be good as left wing back The second part of the article about Newcastle and Man City owning/part owning several clubs abroad to get better value in transfers makes ANY investigation of Watford a sick joke
Well exactly and we've been doing deal between us and Udinese for years of course. Probably easier to punish someone in the EFL and if we don't go up. Some have said any punishment might be financial like a transfer embargo which on the standards of recent signings might not be a bad thing!
This together with some refereeing performances does make you wonder if there is actually an agenda to thwart us getting back to the Prem at any costs How galling must it be for all these mighty teams floundering in the Championship and League one to see Tin Pot little Watford being more successful than them over the past ten years
The club's get-out? "that EFL financial inspectors, who work in the Club Reporting Financial Unit, will review the transfer, as it is between two clubs under the same ownership" Gino owns Watford, Giampaolo owns Udinese - hardly the same ownership?
Well the club seem to feel there is nothing to worry about but guess they aren't going to say otherwise. We certainly haven't helped ourselves either but as i say we've had the link up with Udinese for 10 years so they have had the chance to look at the deals done in the past.
WatfordFC & Dan Gosling mutually agreed contract termination. Continues rehab at club so when fit possibility of new deal. Meanwhile, discussions ongoing re Tom Cleverley who is also out of contract this summer. TheAthleticFC
Seems a shame - but injuries and age are taking their tolls on both. Out of the two, I'd be happy if Cleverley stayed, simply because he has more to offer when fit.
Seems a bit pointless paying up a contact with only a few months left . See the potential Cleverley deal has gone down well elsewhere .
It would appear that as well as Manga announcing the departure of Bilic he and his assistant were the ones that actually sacked him There has been an ongoing row since the December window and got to the point where they would not even sit near Bilic Jingle Bells, Jingle Bells, Jingle all the way Oh what fun it is to be a Watford fan today
It’s very sad to see so many people feel such distain and lack of love for the club and not want to go until the Pozzos go or we play better . Almost feels like getting to the PL and having a little spell there was the worse thing as it increased expectations and demands in managers, players and the owners. So for many being 11th in the Championship is totally unacceptable and really under performing which I guess certainly attacking wise is true given our lack of goals. Players like Sarr now being talked about as if he is the i worse player we have ever had ! Some clubs keep their crowds fairly steady despite going through tough times but can see quite a drop for us .
For a couple of decades now in football it is either instant success or failure Thanks Sky Sports/Premier league
