Well who's got stuck into us and come out on top? Everton singularly failed to "get stuck in" at anfield. It was actually shocking just how unphysical the game was made. if you get close and make it a battle then you've a great chance to rough us us.

Who's side blitzed us off the park. Quite a few sadly.

This is why I've been saying all season it's not just the injuries that have been our problem. It doesn't matter who we have on the pitch, if we face a team below us, we seem to play the same way week in week out. Until we face the likes of united and step it up, reminding everyone how we CAN play, but just don't for some reason

Klopp sent out two kids in midifeld and held milner back to be able to sub off trent. this imo was all out CL. blowing chase for 4th by focusing on a lost cause.

We were never able for the physicality Bournemouth could then apply.

then again if vvd header goes in there and we take the lead we will probably grind through without have any risk.

Didn't watch the game was doing family stuff. Have no desire to watch the replay... <laugh>

That said. It's painfully apparent that we were winning when sacrificing and stopped winning when we stopped sacrificing.

Yes, we lost against RM despite a sacrifice, but that's a European game, not a domestic game. The sacrifices only work domestically, obviously.

I agree and what was the point? We're out, we're not good enough to turn it around against RM

Did he say that? If so, that's the problem right there - nobody should want the win more than you do unless it's a dead rubber for you.
Bournemouth are desperate for points, but so are we.
Poor attitude is the one thing I can't tolerate in a footballer.

No. We should just quit playing football, let the club fold and just use the stadium for Justin Bieber concerts.

Let's just give up, no point playing football and trying to win, there's no end of the storm. <ok>

What would people consider a successful season from this point? Top 4? Top 7? CL win and league position doesn't matter except for pride?

If I was his manager he'd be benched for that remark.
Either he was admitting to not being bothered or he was slyly accusing others of it.

Top 4 is the best we can realistically hope for from our current position, though I'm reluctant to call it a successful season.
Lower than 4th is a definite failure.
