By trent attitude this season, you'd swear it was his last one and he was killing time until he got his move away.

now admittedly i was watching thru my fingers but trying to play offside pretty much on the halfway line doesn't strike me as deep .

The lesser teams are all aware of this, the tactic of ten men defending and hitting on the break seems to work better against us than other teams, there is so much space behind the defenders. We really need to change the tactics

I don't know that it's space behind par se but people shirking what they know full well that have to do.

get tight, close space, hit the man and ball.

trent yesterday was a bad joke.

Elliott tried his little cotton socks off and was put manned physically.

the other player I felt really shirked was salah.

nunez brush a guy closing down and was taken off to leave on the guy stood about not affecting the game.

Taking nunez off and leaving salah on stank in my mind.

If you wonder where some of the ****ty half arse attitude has come from, you've oy got to look at that.

I can't read his mind and I might be doing him a disservice, but I've long had the impression that being a star at a young age went to his head.

Either way we were never under the cosh, surely the issue was not looking like we were ever going to score?
We can afford to ship a goal occasionally if we're firing them in.

Annoying this is win yesterday and we go 5 points off United in 3rd!! And they now have casemiro out for 4 games.

3 points off spurs in 4with a game in hand

1 above Newcastle played 1 more

Wed be right in the hunt not only for 4th but for 3rd. Proper frustrating that after an awful season, were that close still but just can’t find any kind of consistency away from home. Needed to be close going into those next 2 big away games. Now it’s a case of mist sun at least 1

I think Solid was talking about us being too high when out of possession. I meant we were sitting deep in possession.

When teams sit back we should press them high to squeeze them. Only time it becomes a problem is if we give possession away cheaply, which we did.

We spent far too much time passing it about in and around our own penalty area and allowed them time to get back into position every time. There was no urgency to get the ball forward and exploit their gaps.

I honestly think it's not about high.lines or low blocks.

it's about not closing down. if everyone presses properly then Bournemouth cannot get out and the fast (but fairly shot) lad they had has zero impact.

it's about shirking the physical battle. the only lad trying in midfield was Elliott and he was bouncing off lads or not getting close as he can't tackle. he was trying though. klopp started both Elliott and bajcetic, massive tactical error based on soke illness or other.

if klopp is fixated on Europe midweek (we we are already out) then Henderson sat there being minded and trent off for milner start to make sense.

we have just thrown this game away focusing on real.madrid.

I'm patiently awaiting 25mins of us lashing about like it matters followed by an absolute thumping.

Theres a very worrying trend developing with some players.

Well, i say trend. I should say ironclad evidence of low hunger levels.

Its the bloomng run in now. What is salah doing trying to top bin the pen for the cameras when we are under the pump. If it was 4-0 up or something ok i MIGHT say ok you were showboating but he's gone there with rank attitude. He didn't do it in the CL final so why should he do it there when we need the points.

Trent. He wouldn't get up in the air at the back stick, he wouldn't track runs, he wouldn't stay out wide to be a pass on for konate, he wouldn't press up. It was a pretty much, look at me ping some passes lads performance.

elliott tried his best bless him. But he was dominated there. No help from anyone around him and he gets hauled off. Salah left on, trent then left till 66mins.

how the hell we remove nunez i don't know still. it can only be with midweek in mind.

Klopp smililing away on the line. that amazed me. I know its only a few shots and only the ones the tv wanted to show but you have to be screaming at these guys to do more.

I presume it was an ironic smile wondering how the team had gone from 7-0 to this sh1t show

He'd do well to wonder less and eat thee face of them more.

in reality of he had sickness or injury to contend with then fine but he had to know Bournemouth are scrapping for their lives. the second i saw the midfield at 11:30 I was worried. By 12:50 I knew we were in serious trouble.

Problem is it’s become such a regular thing that I almost have to wonder if it’s a psychological thing for our players now.

Doesn’t help that our away form is just shocking this year no matter what time we play through.

    3 wins
    3 draws
    7 defeats
    12 points from a possible 39

this is far more relevant point 100%

    Fulham 2-2 D
    Man Utd 1-2 L
    Everton 0-0 D
    Arsenal 2-3 L
    Forest 0-1 L
    Spurs 2-1 W
    Aston Villa 3-1 W
    Brentford 1-3 L
    Brighton 0-3 L
    Wolves 0-3 L
    Newcastle 2-0 W
    Palace 0-0 D
    Bournemouth 0-1 L

4 of those defeats are utterly unforgivably poor.
The draws to a shambles everton side and shambles of a palace side. really poor.

the losses to brighton, utd, arsenal I could take, they were clearly the better sides. The draw with fulham I could take. it was scrapping out against the better side.

To lose pathetically to bournemouth, wolves and forest are an absolute shambles. The loss to brentford was a poor show but you could expect brentford to give us a kicking.

It seems to me that we are not up for a physical battle at all and not really up for a running one either. We should be loving getting stuck in and out working sides if we were bothered.

Fulham, Brighton, utd, arsenal all ran us off the park. Absolutely humiliated us.
Wolves, Borunemouth, everton, palace out muscled us.

forest had one fast lad, that was it. utter shambles of a game.

Its astonishing that Newcastle, spurs and villa let us win TBH. they are actually outliers in woeful away form.

the sad truth is any manger who can get his team to "get stuck in" has a fair chance against us at home and any side that can outwork us will win.
