My line up - Murphy-----------Isak-----------Almiron ---Longstaff---Bruno-----Willock---------- Burn---Botman-----Schar------Trippier --------------------Pope--------------------- I'd drop ASM if Murphy is really doing that well. From now on I'd just bring ASM on if we're chasing a game. Prediction - Hard earned 1-2 win. Forest are good at home, but I think we'll nick it.
He's been our best player this season. I'd rather start him over ASM because ASM adds nothing to the defence, and he hasn't proven himself a better threat than Almiron Almiron has scored in plenty of games he started, he's easily the better all round player. ASM is being sold in the summer because the lazy ****er doesn't defend and leaves Burn exposed. Almiron defends, closes down effectively, and has been more effective in almost every aspect than ASM this season, besides showing off with pointless step overs.
Max had a decent game today. He linked up well with Isak especially in the first half. He’s currently developing into a more team player and I would stick with him because he still frightens defenders. He’s not the finished product but if we stick with him and he keeps trying to learn and improve he will be one hell of a player in a year or two.
No because he hadn't scored yesterday... BTW he still hasn't lived upto 60 million, but was excellent today
Was I the only one watching the fantastic link up between ASM and Isak? We could’ve been out of sight from those two alone. Why on earth we’d mess with that I don’t know. I’d keep as is, possibly Gordon over Murphy and maybe Targett in for Burn.
Nope, I’ve mentioned it somewhere on here tonight. Max is still a relatively young player whose development was stunted because of the idiots we had in charge for the early part of his career here. For me it’s obvious he is trying to improve and adapt his style of play. At the moment he’s caught between two stools, the old and the new Max. If he continues to try to improve then I’m sure he could become one hell of a player. There’s no denying that the natural talent is there and it would be criminal to not stick with him in the hope he does learn the answer to the when to pass and when to dribble question. If he does he could become a world class player.
Isak has got to start. I'd keep Murphy, don't think he did anything wrong, like his attitude too. Does a lot for the side, never seemed to complain when he was benched and earned his way back against all odds. Good fella. It's Joelinton who I'm debating tbh.
