Relatively content with a point from a team everyone was suggesting was going to be 'angry' and 'fired up' to prove a point after their drubbing against Liverpool. Regardless, definitely some mild disappointment stems from some big sitters we just squandered and robbed ourselves of an additional 2 points.
Please with the performance. Not going lie, bit disappointed not to take all 3 points. Still,1 point is more than I expected from this game
Not sure how to feel about that. A point, away from home at Utd would usually be a good result. Still, Selles
So that's now three clean sheets in four league games for Selles, and seven halves out of eight without us conceding. Not bad considering he took over from 'I pride myself of defending well and keeping clean sheets' Nathan Jones - who kept zero.
I feel a lot more positive after that. Not because of the result, but because of the performance. We looked like a premier league team for once, instead of a group of strangers from down the local pub. Well done Selles
And the only league goal surrendered was one that Bazunu frankly fluffed. Just thankful that we don't have to play more attacking outfits, like Grimsby, again this season.
Very pleased for Bazunu. I think that's our first point this season which we can give him proper credit for getting us.
Fair play to our much derided players, Bednarek and Bazunu - both had excellent games. Sort of gutted not to take a win, but as we've been saying, our issues are more at the forward end of the pitch. Why oh why did our chances have to fall to Theo. Thought that was Ruben's misstep today, leaving him on so long, and then...well...bringing on Adarma who isn't good enough. Still a point is a point more than I figured we'd get.
When they went down to 10 men we were lucky to not lose 6-0…….ah **** forget NJ has gone……scrap that thought.
