Looking like we wont even make the playoffs now...the first time I have really considered this really...shambolic.

    Sensible move I think.
I decided to forgo the second half - my nephew's son plays Rugby Union in the Tennant's Premiership and today was the season finale, so I followed that instead. Didn't get the hoped for result though - leading 18-14 with 10 seconds to go, his team conceded a try and lost 18-21. Second season in a row they lost the final. Enjoyable game though.

And for the rest of this season, blood some more youngsters - there are certainly 3 or 4 well worth persevering with, just need toughening up a bit.

Maybe it is time for the Pozzos to move on, as long as they sell to the right new owner we will always be grateful for the ground and our times in the Premier League

Probably not, but there is plenty of it on the Pozzo's shoes, given the mess they have created over the past few years.

With Sunderland's surprise win at Norwich today, we are no longer even in the top ten. Disheartening, but fully deserved given the tripe the team have been serving up this season.

A complete reset is needed, but I doubt we'll get one.

Lot of the squad are out of contract or only on loan so we will need a lot of changes.

We will have to build a new squad from who remains

We have done it before, time for Gino to bite the bullet or sell the club

Will the coming parachute payments be enough to cover club debt? I mean, we can’t be trading if insolvent, but I just can’t see how we can be solvent. :emoticon-0138-think

I watched the lowlights on the Watford website

Apart from Pedro we did not look interested, Bachman kept the score down but how is anyone going to turn us into a team

Yeah but, if they ‘have to sell’ is that because we aren’t solvent? I don’t understand how we can carry this amount of debt. How can a club like Watford secure these loans? Against what?

We will find out indue course I guess, the last three years have been bad for Watford FC, in contrast to the previous eight years

Maybe things have got stale and we might need chance but new owners won't suddenly mean we buy a group of fantastic players or we win every game.

Of course we'd like to and it's disappointing to be so inconsistent and play poorly but that is how we have been for most of our our history bar a few occasions.

Maybe we need to give a manager and squad time - already seen people say Wilder is under pressure and not the man - and I think they are being serious too!

It’s illegal to trade whilst insolvent - so my question is, how are we solvent?

You also do wonder about the integrity of the Pozzos and how they manipulate the money....

....and seemingly no interest in the fans

We only become insolvent if the lender(s) calls in the debt ( assuming the terms of the loan allow them to do so) and the borrower is unable to pay the debt. Generally, lenders will not call in the debt if it is likely that they will get repaid eventually, and especially if calling it in means the borrower will go under so the lender won't get their money back. Of course, if it appears absolutely hopeless , then a lender will call in the debt just to close matters. Any number of businesses have more debt than assets ( most tech companies operate this way for many years hoping to make huge profits - eventually) . The club obviously has enough cash to pay suppliers, players and staff. now, if that ran out, and they couldn't raise more money (capital or loans) then we would be insolvent.
