Based on our support and stadium is that not enough ? and we did win at Norwich 3-0 in 2016 i cannot remember that it is on youtube i know in 1985 we won 3-1 there, but their ground is like Coventry's, them going there for a 12 noon kick off well i praise them for the early start but no chance of winning.
Me too mate, we'll have great support down there and the team have enough to reward them with a win. I've no chance of making it so my ticket is available if anyone's in need. It'll be great watching on the big screen instead of a buffering one camera stream with a Serbs-Croatian commentary Haway the Lads, let's have a cracking day and all afternoon to celebrate
Freshly up from league 1 and you think we should finish higher than Luton and Milwall, nice place the world where you live in.
You literally saud that you “hope we have enough points to stay up already”. Insinuating that we’ll finish the season on our current points total. How am I putting words in your mouth? If that’s not what you meant, then your post was very badly worded
I’d love to hear your explanation of how “I hope we have enough points to stay up already” equates to something different to what I said. It literally states that you hope we’ll stay up with our current points total. So we won’t get any more points? Or have I missed something
No it’s not enough. It’s arrogant in the extreme. Using that explanation, you expect us to be top of the league this season and finish top half of the prem next. Completely unrealistic.
It's open to interpretation. I meant I'm not expecting many more on the current total so hope with that in mind that's big enough already, not that we'd not get another point at all. Anyway, enjoy the match.
But we have a bigger stadium and get fans! Not sure if this type if thinking come from arrogance or shows how long someone has been following football. Go back 50 years or so and there was probably more importance on how many fans the club got in each week and the finances generated by that to fund the team. Its a mere drop in the ocean these days in comparison to money brought in by tv money and owners funds! Either way it's complete nonsense. We are building the team and pretty much starting again in the last few years. Even though last couple of weeks have been hugely disappointing we have had a great season so far imo. And I'll say this againal a bit of luck with injuries and refs not ****ing us over and we would be sitting where boro are imo!
Been catching up with the threads and after listening to the WTF podcast with the Norwich fan, I'm nervous about this one. I'm going to repeat myself and say that we need to put the experience of O'Nien, Pritchard and since he's training with the first team again - Gooch into the team asking with some physicality of Ekwah. My team would be Patterson Hume. Ballard. Baath. Gooch O'Nien Ekwah Roberts Pritchard Clarke Lihadji Maybe swap Gooch and Hume over in the full backs
