Unfortunately we didn't play with any recognisable plan today - just looked like what we are: a group of journeymen temporarily under another interim manager who nobody listens to because nobody expects him to stay around. Well played and look forward to playing you next season - hopefully with something which resembles a team.
Team actually look together at long last, every player giving Drewe encouragement. A great confidence builder, onwards and upwards you Rrrrsss...
Great performance, great result and Ale Faulin at half time. If Carlsberg arranged days out at Loftus Rd……
Best performance by Kakay in the hoops and merits MOTM. But you have to point to Chris Martin as the pivotal player of the contest: won header after header high up the field and even when he didn't win them he made sure the Watford defence knew he was there. And 90 full on minutes for an old 'un is some effort. Well done the Loftus Road crowd; back with a bang and carried an exhausted team over the line.
Ale was there to grab an R for his surname. But seriously IWAWR, that was a highlight and wasn't it great that the boys gave him a win on his day of celebration.
Great performance today, every player gave 100% so nice to see the old Rangers again, the crowd were magnificent and the atmosphere was electric well done the R'sssss welcome back lads we have missed you.
A wierd day from my perspective! 1. My U16s got clinically bullied and out-played. The 90 minute drive home was no fun. 2. Watched a repeat of England - frogs and didn't like watching that either. 3. Norrköping got dumped out of the QF of the cup (same time as QPR and U16) The good news: 4. About 18 months ago a Norrköping player was suddenly not available to play. After a while it was announced, by the player himself, that he had brain cancer. I was unaware that he was, completely out of the blue, on the bench today, and played the last 15 minutes. (My second highlight of the day) 5. You SuperfuckingDooperHoopsa!
At the start of the game, I was staggered to see HQ nearly full. So many of us turned out to support a team that hadn't won for ages. Absolutely well done GA and the lads but well done us too.
What brilliant singing (at least it is to me)! Deserves to be in the Premiership. Those supporters, albeit off the pitch, were our extra legs. Get them to the 'Pool on Tuesday.
What a massive uplift that is. They aren't bad players, they just needed someone to come in and give them a shot in the arm. Beale had poisoned the dressing room and Critchley just didn't have the personality or charisma to lift them up. Ainsworth has done it. It's feels good again to be a QPR fan.
You've had a busy time there TQPR. And finished off on some great results. Yes, Hoops were SFD! But, more pleasantly sobering was that that Norrköping player got a run in his side's game. God willing his prognosis is decent and he gets to play hundreds of games for his club, if not more.
What a pleasant surprise this was after a visit to Clematis Market in West Palm Beach. Was just sitting down to lunch at a wonderful Thai restaurant and I thought, I'm not going allow another miserable result ruin my day! Onwards and upwards to Blackpool for hopefully a similar winning outcome and established mid table mediocrity, rather than relegation fodder.
