Us, Everton and Forest all same odds for the drop. Turned out an important draw between the 2 last Sunday. Palace next 2 Brighton and Arsenal both away! I'd take another draw at Wolves next week for us, but feel we might sneak a win which would put us in a good position going into the break.
Go on. Next you’re going to tell me someone is going to get a right thrashing the way we’re playing and how much stronger a squad (on paper) we have from last season. Throw in the KP is **** and wouldn’t be any good in a non Bielsa team (despite our win ratio being massive better whenever he played) and you’ve won the full forum bingo for me
No non of that, dont think i've said any of that , we're not great but neither are the other 8 or they wouldn't be down there at this stage, it's going to be 3 of a bad bunch but no reason it has to be us. Of our 12 games we have 6 of those 8 to play, said the other day, win 4 of those and draw 4 of the other games and we're looking ok. Today we got 1 of those draws. But it's a free world, if you want to be downbeat, that's your perogative, knock yourself out.
I live in hope. Without it, what's the point, may aswell just crawl up a corner and reminisce of the Revie days. And tbh, 16 points out of a possible 39 isn't CL form. I say 39, as there was 13 games left, when I said we needed the16 points
I know they ultimately went down on the last day, but last season Burnley won 3 in their first 28, and then in April managed to win 4 in 6. Looking at our home results against the bottom 9 so far; wins against Bournemouth, Southampton and Wolves. Draws against Everton and West Ham. No defeats yet.
Only snag is they’re four points ahead of us. At our current rate that’ll take us about six games to make up and hope they lose all their games #clutchingatstrawz
My straws, We salvaged a point today I didn’t expect. We came from behind twice.(ooh matron) We have a fully fit squad( bar the usual crocks) There are 9 teams in the mix, only 6 points between 12th and bottom. Only one of those teams have scored more goals than us. Some teams are getting lucky results, today Bournemouth, our turn must be soon. We have 6 matches against relegation rivals. I'm going to try to enjoy the ride, rocky as it may be. MOT
