Hmm, both Everton & Bournemouth winning one of their trickier games, as well as Leeds getting a point, is pretty bad. I do think fans worry too much about game weeks though, it doesn't really matter what happened each individual weekend come the 38th game.
I’d rank it as poor, not awful. Obviously dream would’ve been everyone losing but Forest and Leicester losing was a positive. Leeds only drawing as well. It was why last week was such a must win as the fixtures this week were kinder to our rivals and if we’d lost that we would be cut right adrift when we lose to Utd tomorrow.
Agreed. And when it comes down to it, we need to be winning games ourselves, not worrying what anyone else is doing.
Still Palace result to come today as well, they are in very bad form in 2023, an unexpected win against city would not help today
A bit late to say we need to worry about just us.. We're bottom of the league and have been a lot recently. We absolutely need to worry what teams around us are doing as if they get unexpected results it just means we have to win more games.
Yes, read today that the average position of our opponents for the rest of the season is 8.2. Worse than anyone else (though we do seem better against better teams...)
