I agree with this, but it would always be at the expense of two other clubs whichever way it was done, which isn't fair. So they can **** off and stay where they are.
Well, it's further North than Tyne & Wear and they struggle to attract big name players and achieve the position in the league that Medro was referring to. Therefore by the same logic, so would the Old Firm.
Money talks. Do you think a ****hole like Manchester would attract top players if it wasn't for the money?
I think they should be let in, and straight to the EPL, they should be allowed to elbow teams like mine aside and get straight to the pot of gold. They are lovely after all. please log in to view this image
scottish teams play scottish leagues, nowhere else. if we moved to england, what would stop the top english teams going off to la liga or wherever? we need two leagues of twelve teams and stuff the rest. we don't have the infrastructure to support four leagues with a five million population.
Really? Ok...my wife is a mag and so I have a pretty decent understanding of their team...I am struggling to think of a big name player amongst the squad? Granted there are some pretty bloody good players...Collocini, Cabaye etc and Ba is shaping up nicely as well...but no real big names in there.
Just like its been in Scotland for years with Rangers and Celtic. Your hypocrisy is astounding sonny. Please try to wise up a bit.
I see what you're saying I did originally say that the players would earn millions, Manchester or London
In that case Cardiff and Swansea should go back to playing in the Welsh leagues Hatem Ben Arfa, Cabaye was a big name in Europe, so was Santon. 3 off the top of my head. Just because they're not big names over here doesn't mean they aren't over the channel.
Ok...so what calibre of player have you attracted for that money? Apologies as your fighting this on two fronts.
One league of 18 one of twelve and then merge the rest with the south, east, and highland leagues these can win promotion into the top two leagues to stop poorly run clubs having the safety net they do now. Create a west league out of kicked out clubs and junior clubs. Then have the junior set up able to climb into the other leagues and then the best run clubs can finally fulfill their potential, I will be able one day to watch Petershill in the Champions League.
