Brilliant news! Been waiting for this to happen for years. Just show the matches. We don't need over paid pundits to tell us what we just watched, and after match interviews are a total waste of time too.
Going forward - JUST SHOW THE FOOTBALL!

He's making a real mess of the job so far, Boris Mk2.

"The BBC has apologised for the failure to properly scrutinise claims made by Nadine Dorries on a radio show, capping a day of controversies for the corporation."

Quite right, I must resolve not to respond to you.

Once you think you've picked me up on some vague grammatical nuance you try to make the argument about me.

That's because there's no point asking you any serious questions about your reasoning.

You're DH4 with a shorter ignore list at this point. Tories bad but you can't articulate why properly or apply any reason or logic to your blind hatred. Gulping down any story, no matter how ridiculous, that suits.

Sorry mate, missed your post, I wasn't ignoring you.

No I don't hate the Tories because they're Tories, that would be daft. I hate any politician who's incompetent, arrogant and divisive. I don't really think that's unfair. I've previously praised Cameron and May but criticised Blair and Corbyn..

In truth there's been more criticism of fellow Tories, recently, than there has been from their opponents. To the point whereby at least two successive sitting Prime Ministers have been forced out of office by Tory colleagues. We've had years of them attacking each other and their policies so I don't believe my opinions are hateful ... I think they're quite reasonable.

As for your point about Braverman.

She's been in office since October last year and was previously involved, since 2020, with immigration as Attorney General.

If you think I'm unfairly attacking her as useless you must be defending her ...

    ... why?

OK, I'll ignore you in future ... please do the same.

If you think my arguments are so poor I've no idea why you spend so much of your time discussing them. I've noticed there are very few people who ever respond to you because you're so boring and evasive.

    Time I joined them.

What an awful mess, that can all be solved quite easily. Gary Lineker should just donate £400k to the Tory Party, and arrange an £800k "loan" to Bonko and it will all go away. Jobs a gud un. :emoticon-0102-bigsm

    Alan Sugar - racist comments
Fiona Bruce - defending the abusive father of a Tory MP
Gary Lineker - criticising Tory Govt

Only one of them was punished.

    Interesting

    I can't believe I'm defending the bloke ...

... but sports hosts being sacked for making comments, on social media, is akin to what we've seen in Russia and China.

He's not asking the public to storm Parliament, just saying the language being used is extreme in his opinion. Apologising, for the sake of his highly paid job, would either be hypocritical or admitting he was wrong.

The BBC have scored a massive OG here imo.

I've no idea how they get back into the game tbh and I doubt they do.

It's either a massive climb down or sacking someone who'll sue them for unfair dismissal, unless they use licence payer's money to pay him off.
