The non-Watford football thread

Been on air with the one show. I wasn’t down to be doing match of the day tomorrow, but if I was I would of said no and stood with my fellow pundits. Jermaine Jenus

 

Alex Scott confirmed that she won't be replacing Gary Lineker, tomorrow night.

 

Maybe MOTD will go totally left field and actually show match highlights rather than bore us rigid with the opinions of pundits who as players would not survive in the modern era

 

It would be a short programme then, as the BBC is restricted on the amount of game time it can show. The talk manages to stretch it out into a full length football show.

 

I tried watching the EFL highlights show but 36 games in 90 minutes with adverts and monotonous gibberish by so called experts limits each game to about 90 seconds

 

Even on the ITV x thing it was an hour and a half with adverts .

Certainly dragged on.

And that is when you are at the Vic watching the actual game with actual fans

 

Mexican Hornet won't be doing MOTD tomorrow night either. I will be out having a BBQ with mates.

 

I don't think I have watched MOTD at all this season. Friday night with French games, Saturday games with Watford seemed to be enough for me.

nah, troy has got moral compass ........and as you realise , they bottled it totally and showing match highlights only , bbc are run by tories , literally , both the chair and director are card carrying , tory donating toe rags .
if you compare this with what happened in germany , no dissent allowed .....no deviation from the party line , in this case passing a bill they know to be illegal , staggers me how any one can defend such a thing.

 

Seems like there will be no presenter or pundits tomorrow.

Probably bring more viewers out of curiosity!

 

Even the commentators have pulled out in solidarity , Seems the tories /bbc have totally got this wrong , bit like everything else thry do .........players are apparently supporting the boycott ......brilliant if true

 

It would be such fun if the players/managers only wanted to speak about the freedom of speech and supposed impartiality! Contracts met, point made.

Morning all. As you know, Final Score is a TV show very close to my heart. However - I have this morning informed the BBC that I will not be presenting the show this afternoon on BBC One. Jason Mohammad

I made a decision last night that even though I love doing football focus and we have had an incredible week winning an SJA award that it just doesn’t feel right going ahead with the show today. Alex Scott

Well they won’t be able to make excuses for Liverpool tonight then .
