That's just nonsense, he's been ****e for 3 months in between his rests, if Pope was having howlers every week he'd be dropped pretty quickly, same thing just different ends of the pitch, if a player is not on form he needs dropping and hopefully work his way back into the team, nobody is getting the pitchforks out, he's just not very good.

He has scored a goal every 155 minutes. Its 3 goals in 8 appearances. This despite coming back from a serious injury which has blighted his season and unable to get into the starting 11 due to favouritism. That favouritism to be fair has been historically earned between Howe and Wilson when he has been fit, until now. He averages 2 shots a game, meaning he scores 1 in 5 shots give or take. He has a passing % rate of 74% with an average of creating 1 key chance per game. Just need to get him fit and on the pitch to be fair to the lad.
Wilson will demonstrate things nicely with goals and then we'll hear a different tune as usual. Gordon and Wilson are going to link up nicely I feel. Isak will get a run out but until he's fit he doesn't deserve to start.
