I would heavily recommend it. We’ve watched it all through three times, and it’s worth it. We weren’t so keen on Season 3, but it becomes more palatable on further viewing. Season 4 is magnificent, closely followed by Season 2 and 1. You would love it, I’m sure.

 

Mrs Fez would watch it "a la classic Doctor WHO"; with the cushions, behind the sofa!

 

The murky money that seems to follow football continues, with the shirt sponsor at Sheffield Wednesday having to suspend it shares after what appears to be a massive fraud has been discovered. 24m$ was reported as the revenue in 2022 for WANdisco, but it looks like it was only 9m$.

I wonder what position this leaves pundits like Shearer, Wright or others in? There are calls for them to refuse to appear if they agree with Lineker.

I have informed the BBC that I won’t be appearing on MOTD tomorrow night. Alan Shearer

 

Micah Richards has confirmed that he will not appear on Match of the Day tomorrow, if asked by the BBC.

 

I am not sure that many people would miss him or some of the others.

Wonder if the BBC are looking for a bit of an excuse to push Lineker out as he is on a very large wage and not that young now?

 

Even if they didn't agree with the comment no-one will want to go on and be seen going against the big boss so to speak.

 

I wouldn't be surprised if it was presented by Mark (the guy who does MOTD2) or Alex Scott

Truth is regardless of views on his comments, will ANYONE actually miss Jug Ears or Alan (God I am boring) Shearer and Ian Wright is not that much better
