He'd argue that you risk the fullbacks sitting back with a back 3, as opposed to a four. Sanchez also gives us an aerial threat from set-pieces, which could be key in that situation. Not the sub that I'd have made, but I can see an argument for it.
“The club wanted to sign this player on loan”… That’s because he said he’d only let Gil leave on loan if a replacement came in . This season, pound for pound, has to be one of the worst displays of management I’ve seen at the club in the last 17 or so years.
Considering that 17 years includes the Ramos debacle, AVB and the beatles, not particularly nice but very dim, Maureen and Nuno it is a hell of an achievement tbf
This is Conte. If he doesn't get his way, watch out. He's more poisonous than Mourinho. Everyone knew it and yet we've employed him and tried to get him to manage to a level of spend and control that was never going to work out. ****ing stupid. Next chump.....
Whilst there were certain things I didn’t like, Jose actually spoke many hard truths about the squad at the time and at the very least he had a system that worked brilliantly for Kane and Son, just nobody else. Everything Conte says just seems like utter bollocks and there isn’t a single player excelling in his laborious management.
just catching up but not sure thats anything to shout about as you lost that game Second game having sonny back is better
What about Santini refusing to play Michael Carrick because he got the hump with Arnesen understanding the brief better than he did?
