And had FC agreed to that? There were 3,000 more in the MKM than the 12,000 new stadium that was mentioned. The whole thing is a non starter anyway. There is not enough room for what is proposed anyway.
Some people get worked up for the sake of it. I'm sure he's well aware it was covered that FC were supportive of the plan if it goes ahead.
Oh, look! He is aware of what I have written.Any links to FC saying they were supportive of moving into a 12,000 capacity stadium?
It is kind of cute when someone posts a number of posts in a row directed at someone so they're forced to check what people on ignore are saying as the discussion becomes quite broken, then get overjoyed when you finally respond to them. They miss me I suppose. All those snide digs were rather sweet I must say. https://www.hulldailymail.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/hull-city-unveils-plans-25m-8121075 Pearson is part of the working group for the plans for the sports village. I would think if he's part of the working group and the working group has proposed the new smaller stadium that he might have some say on it. Initially they will have a new 5-year lease at the MKM, and then should the 12k stadium get up and running, they have the opportunity to relocate. Nothing's set in stone at this stage but then again why would it be? There'd be no point building the new stadium if there wasn't a genuine interest in using it from FC though as it wouldn't be financially viable otherwise.
You really are a weirdo. And with an inflated opinion of yourself. You are always looking at what people disagreeing with me say then liking any derogatory comments, I asked the original poster where was there any statement from Pearson they would want to relocate to a 12,000 stadium. The numpty who originally posted seems to think that we could kick FC out of the stadium. Even someone as ill informed as you should know that is not possible. In any case there is not room for a 12,000 seat stadium, a sports village and pitches for the academy. Smaller clubs than us have sites just for their academy that are larger than the Walton Street site. Your interest in me despite you not engaging with me is rather sweet, No one misses you though.
Can’t see FC agreeing to move to a stadium that’s not big enough for the attendances they occasionally get. Why would they? I’d assumed Pearson was on it to ensure nothing was done to negatively affect FC. That’s what I’d do anyway.
They wouldn’t. And as most sensible people have pointed there is not enough room for a stadium and all the other things envisaged. Some clubs have training set ups bigger than the Walton Street site.
Quite possibly, but as he's part of the working group it would seem strange to propose a stadium that he doesn't want to use. I thought the suggestion was they would only use the MKM for big games?
The articles a bit odd actually. It says that the deal includes renewing FC stadium lease, but you’re right it then says later FC may want to use the smaller stadium. TWT
I'm guessing the estimated time for completion would be around 5 years and renewing their mkm deal in the meantime is to ensure their support.
Not sure I'd agree on 5 years, but they have a contract until then anyway so no need to renew beyond that which is what I read. (unless to provide security of it had a break clause for them to go smaller) I still don't think they'd want to move to a smaller stadium though, even if just for the ego issue!
On their forum, which I have absolutely no idea how representative it is and it's only really a handful of posters, but the consensus seemed to be supportive of a smaller stadium for all but specific games such as KR where they would use the circle, but they felt 15,000 was possibly more suitable. I have no idea how passes would work on a dual stadium deal though. I thought it would be a hotter topic on there than it is. https://forums.rlfans.com/viewtopic.php?f=34&t=642768
