That's football though isn't it? Any team can beat any other team on their day

I remember being **** and winning 3-0 at Stamford Bridge
Being even ****ter and drawing 2-2 at the Etihad

    It happens. It's 1 game

I thought he did admit he got it wrong and took the blame for it, it’s as though you want him to come round your house and apologise personally.

I agree that the team needs to change a bit, but I also think that Mowbray is a better football manager than me so we'll see what happens. Interesting that Man Utd last night put faith in the same players that got stuffed at Liverpool last week.

Cirkin still out and another "big player" has a muscle injury

    Ballard? Batth? Clarke?

Going to be someone absolutely key for us isn't it?

How about he just said he got it wrong, he got the team wrong, he got the tactics wrong and leave it at that. No need for the exceeding all expectations crap.

I’d have Cirkin in there if he’s fit to play.

Not a chance he should be starting the same players, Pritchard in a midfield 2 looked a disaster on paper even before the game kicked off. We need some more physicality in the middle of the pitch for a start. We also need to start shooting and not working it into the 6yd box every time we attack.

Oh and Man U had an off day (to say the least) but we’ve looked dire for 3-4 games in a row.

You have very eloquently described exactly what I’ve been feeling over the last few weeks.

We seem to be falling away for the lack of a combination of some experienced January reinforcements which we have compounded by not giving the likes of Ekwah, Lihadji and Ba game time when clearly Neil and Michut look gassed.

Really disappointing news about Alese this morning and hoping the new injury to one of the senior lads in training today isn’t to one of the defensive minded two (09, Batth).

As important as new signings will be over the summer I’d also be having a look at the medical and conditioning teams as we are getting a lot of injuries and the amount of time lads are missing is beyond the pale.

I’ve been disappointed with Mowbray over the last few games and hope he freshens the team up down at Norwich. The new injuries mean he will need to make some changes but his team selection and use of subs need to improve significantly from those seen in recent weeks.

I would love to see us go there and win, but sadly, I can't see anything other than a home win.

Norwich are bang in form, so it's going to be a tough game to get anything at all from it.

Silly prediction withheld for 1 week only.

Going for 2-3 to the cuddlies. Not bothered if its 3 own goals bouncing in off their buttocks we just need to stop this little slump.
As I have said before we are way ahead of where I expected to be this season so although recent results have been disappointing or in the case of last weeks fkn annoying I am still a happy clapper regarding how we are doing.

Cheers RTB. Much appreciated for another tremendous write up.

That Chelsea game was off his nut. Think they hadn't conceded at home for a while and were premier league leaders. We weren't ****e though good team that was!

Had the week to lick our wounds this week.....still all to play for in the next few games. Got to find the inner belief that we can get into the top six. Last week was a reminder we can't just turn up and hope it happens. The message has to be we have to make it happen. Man Utd got taken apart at Liverpool but bounced back during the week with a positive result.....we have to do the same. Going for the win and the sun to come out on our top six chances. If it doesn't happen this weekend then we go with the next game after this....and so on and on. 2 - 0 to the lads.....Clarke and Roberts. Onward and upwards....HTL!!!!

Thanks for the in-depth info RTB it was too much information, and being of sound mind, i can't see anyway in hell we can win this, their last five is brill coupled, with our luck with the last three games with the biased fekkers in black, i've decided as i hate seeing my team getting beat, i'll cheer them on and shout like hell for a win, until it all goes tits up then go and do some target practice at the club to keep my eye in
