Patience - I'm still here after 40 years of support, a lot of which was ****. So park that one.

All I'm saying is give Isak the chance to prove himself. I've no idea how you expect him to do that from the bench. I've no problem with Wilson, but he's scored 1 since the W/C vs, for example, Rashford's 18. I don't think another CF in the league has a lower return.

My actual preference is to play Isak and Wilson together, believe it or not. I think Isak can play as a 10, as he's more versatile, in a 4-2-3-1/4-4-2 set up.

But I'm also - overall - delighted. As a fan, however, you take each game as it comes and react according to the right here, right now. I'm concerned we won't build on the excellent start, I'm concerned about the finishing, concerned about the set-up, corners, tippy-tappy with Almiron that isn't working. All of which is just an opinion and doesn't mean i'm impatient or pissed off.

So after all that you agree Wilson shouldn't be dropped and isak can play aswel.

    Patience is a virtue

I'd actually make it case that the best Newcastle have looked all year was when Wilson isak and max were on the pitch vs Fulham

I don't think anyone expected Toney to be this good tbf, and most were thinking he was an excellent championship striker who probably wouldn't make it in the Prem.

Dunno what Toney's fee would be now...£60m? A lot is dependent on the betting charges.

    The great rafa should have.

They could most likely have bought Toney last summer for less than isak.

I would suggest because he's facing a ban he's still worth a punt because its not ideal for bigger clubs.

Newcastle would be a different beast with a proper striker like that to compete with Wilson

I always saw loads of potential in Toney, way more than in Armstrong.

We completely ****ed up Toney's loans by always sending him to League One rather than moving him up to the Championship. And even then if we sold him we should have negotiated a buy back clause.

A lot of the transfer business under Rafa was very poor. Both in and out.

Not sure how much control he actually had over those decisions, but if they were his picks then he made some really bad choices in my opinion.

The thing about football is that it's all about money... the managers these days I mean ffs the way people go on you'd think they were standing on a touchline using a PlayStation control.

It's what the owners spend, what the scouts and coaching teams do in the main.

The managers are riding on their backs.

    Newcastle need goals.

So you take one goalscorer out and put an unproven goalscorer in ?

Why not just remove the players that have over years demonstrated they do not score goals ?

Regardless of the Rafa Vs Bruce debate, Rafa's "my way of the high way" rule clearly wasn't best all the time, and was too much like Souness with the hardline discipline.

He didn't get on with Mitro, but we knew Mitro was class and just needed the right mentoring. Likewise Toney....loan him out yes, but don't give up on him when the best we've got is the likes of Joselu.

Joselu wasn't a bad player either but the fans gave him the Joelinton treatment. He did well after leaving.

Isak and Wilson in the same side would be interesting, with Isak being on the LW. But I doubt it will happen. Not when we have ASM and Gordon fit.

Play Isak for a change and if it doesn't work, whip Wilson on for the final 30 mins.

I dunno it's balance in the team too, plenty point to Asprilla coming in and imbalancing the side as to why why didn't win the title.

Would Wilson and Isak work together or would it be imbalanced? Cos we need the creativity of Miggy, Gordon, ASM etc

He put the effort in, but wasn't that good. And that's what you get for a £5m striker.

I liked him personally, and we've had far worse (Riviere FFS), he just obviously wasn't a top striker or close to one.

They player together once and wilson assisted isak but nobody mentions it .

    It doesn't suit their agenda.

They've said this about a few players here ...it's like in life it's somewhat of a popularity contest.

The Fulham goal? I remember Isak making a difference in that game with his play before the goal, after we'd been naff in the first half.

Isak is a striker, but not a loan striker...not sure if he's suited to being put wide.
