Party gate rears it head again ... water under the bridge and 1 of many drains on the public purse to fill those of KC's and lawyers, who work 40 weeks a year for a million quid and have holiday homes in the sun!

Boat people ... take a page out of Boris's book Rishi! stop rambling on and GET IT DONE!

THE ICING ON THE CAKE OF SELF PITY THIS WEEK ....................
Prince Harry has said he "always felt slightly different" to his family, and that his late mother felt the same.
In an online conversation about grief, the Duke of Sussex said he feared losing memories of his mother Diana when he started therapy...
KEY word here is therapy... he comes over to me as a person who has serious issues of his own making .. bearing in mind pretty much every interview he gives is booked through his agent .. so demands a price! I wonder? if living in USA he is ab le to avoid paying UK tax!

Bakhmut across all media sad pictures and stories of a city now devoid of any untouched building and the population reduced from over 75,000 to 4000 aged and infirm who live in basements without water gas electric. In 6 month's estimated that over 7000 Russians have died over a 1000 Ukranians all because Putrid needs a victory.

TODAY we saw the attempt at stopping the evil that is people being transported at the cost of circa £4000 per head to buy a boat passage to become an illegal immigrant .. it costs the British tax payer .. you AND me £2.2 bn A YEAR TO to support them when they arrive ............ assume 35m people pay tax and that is about £65 pounds per tax payer a year and it is rising.
Another 40000 WILL ADD circa £15 a year per tax payer.
the spin off is that 200,000 places for residence is taken away from rightful British citizens. Councils are being forced into using housing stock to to place illegals at the expense of our children grandchildren and in some cases maybe great grand children from getting a hard worked for home .. be it rented or bought.
Strange isnt it how petty crime and untidy streets / areas / walkways suddenly become a big negative. an area near me has just had a meeting with the housing association that still owns about half of the stock that they own .. the other half is now privately owned! From 2 properties [ wont say from which country they are from other than eastern African area! ] has just had a medium sized skip of rubbish removed from parts of the properties. 8 bedrooms between the 3 3-3-2, house 26 people, originally "let" to 3 families of 7 adults and 8 children now 14 adults and 12 children ....

SCHOOLS / SURGERIES / are being overcome it is sad but something needs to be done ... no good sending some countries seeds for growing as they eat them ! another story !

The sooner something is done the better .. international law states immigrant to first safe country! Track the path's they follow almost every country they flee from [ or travel from ] is safe!

I find it more and more difficult to understand the reasoning of the PMQ's opportunity to discuss current events when they are simply a constant repetition of rewording and based without a plan. Also every week in the Q's is a bottom scraping attempt at attacking the .gov representatives.. today it was plucked from the air snipe and attempted belittling of Sue Braverman. He was CORBYN's second in command and came from a " some say dodgy legal eagle position" I think in a courtroom his tactics and assualts on individuals would fare far better than his attempts at being a leader of any party in the house!

Stephen Flynn... come back Ian Blackkford! ... there is no words to describe his confused and blatant non appreciation of the answer to his first Q.. EITHER DIDNT UNDERSTAND IT or was just going to make his second point as a mater of course .having no ability to think on his feet. Referals to Nigel Farage and Enoch Powell way out of order and not linked in context. Heaven help the people of Scotland if SF and one of the 3 replacements for Nicola are the best they have as leaders.

Today PMQ's was a total waste of time 1 subject covered, and no plan to oppose the ,gov strategedy.
Budget soon so why was no comments made toward prempting that .. like tax/ help financially etc . even something innocentl said might cause the chancellor to rethink an item / add / delete!
Noticed that the usual items brought up as "insults " to ,gov were steered well clear of like inflation/ growth/ etc's as poor old labour would get a roasting on how that has improved ...

You really are delusional, the asylum seekers bill was attacked because there are so many holes in it if it was a boat it would sink half way over the channel, agree about SNP guy though, personally quite like Ian Blackford, even though I didn’t agree with him, I could at least see what he was getting at, thought he was witty at times, this guy is useless.. as for this government’s record in relation to the economy <doh>have you been asleep these last 6 months, or more accurately the last 13 years <laugh><laugh>

You’re talking to the poster who last week suggested giving Kalas a 4 year contract, on the highest wage at the club.

Ashton have another listen and the attacks are all about the so called " failed or stalled by outside sources" The new approach whilst similar to the last needs work even those putting it together agree that. KS attacks were against it by having protected borders, allowing free movement etc .. in other words KS was trying to defend his mentality of having open borders freedom to roam and not stopping the boat people /others from coming here illegally without penalty.
I do tend to go over it a couple of times to get an understanding as exchanges are not always simple replies. SF by the way his First QUESTION was asked not long before he presented it! used to IB's problem has it written down and if mentioned before says it anyway and expects an answer to be something ... when its not doesnt have a plan B!
    Q's TO BE ANSWERED..
how do you stop people paying up to £4000.00p to have a place on a up to £1000 rubber boat sailing from France?
Where do these people get their money from ... they aint starving or destitute .. biggest % is they believe UK is paradise .. as one once said another the promised land!!
How long are we expected to pay £2 a week to house them let alone the additional costs of the staff to administer rescue etc and give them money every week!

Every Q he presented and got an answer to his face told the story couldnt look straight ahead / head was bowed / face was contorted...

Dont take much notice of ROD's comment, has 8 unanswered queries where he has not answered .. but Ref Kalas I will check back and see if I said that

Tottenham interested in Alex Scott transfer raid after £25m-rated winger shines for Bristol City against Man City

PLEASE lets have things right, quote things in context

but was not quoted as saying that .......

    FROM MTHE THREAD...................
    Realred ...................................... [ 3 STATEMENTS IN THE SENTENCE ]

    1) he is worth keeping on the same salary, or at least the equal of the highest paid,[ currently £27k ] .............. NO MENTION OF 4 YEARS, could renew him for 1 year plus 1 or 2 plus 1 or .....

    2) or a contract on lower wages but until 26/27 with option of 1 year. ....... .on lower wages over a longer term 4 years [ we do not know what he is on now less than 27k more than 27k??

    3) we need to build up the squad for a potential 24/25 top 6/ promo! ........................... [ bear in mind NP happy to pay for older players like Simpson etc FOR EXPERIENCE! FACTOR ]

    "AshtonRed.......................
I agree he should still be kept a top earner within the new wage structure , but would still need to drop considerably from his present deal, no way can he be kept on what he’s on now .. WITHIN THE NEW WAGE STRUCTURE IS THE KEY

I’ve listened back through, I stick by my post. If you disagree maybe you can answer the q’s the pm failed to
1/ is Sualla right in relation to illegal crossings when she said the public are sick of tough talk, but no action. She was nodding at this point( As the tories have been in 13 years it’s obviously their record she’s referring to) .
The pm waffled, but didn’t answer the question

2/ the pm was then asked will this new bill stop illegal crossings, and if so when. That’s a straight question you’d think and should illicit a straight answer, again the pm waffled but didn’t answer or give a date

3/ of the 18,000 illegal immigrants last year that were deemed illegible to stay here KS asked the PM now many had been returned, again the PM waffled but didn’t answer. The reason he didn’t answer because the total was 21!!!

I could go on, but essentially the bill won’t achieve what it’s set our to achieve. There is even a caveat on the bill saying it’s likely to be illegal (I paraphrase). And you criticise Labour for concentrating PMQ’s on this one issue, UNBELIEVABLE

The pm said the bill will stop the boats, and anyone who arrives illegally will be deported and will be denied if they apply for asylum later.

what he fails to answer is how & when they will stop the boats, where these thousands of immigrants will be deported too and where the resources will be found to do this, both financially and in terms of manpower, bearing in mind we have tens of thousands of migrants already waiting to be processed.

Then there’s the small issue of whether this is legal to deny immigration on these grounds.

    you couldn’t make it up

RoDs comments were in the correct context, you were saying he should be offered a new contract on his present salary, my point was I was happy for him to be amongst the highest earner, but within the restraints of our new post COVID wage limits, which would mean a massive decrease in salary , I went on to say he’s likely to be offered more by championship p/p teams,

Now of course, since his latest injury, things have changed somewhat

Mr Macron praised the joint efforts of UK and French teams working to reduce small boat crossings.
Speaking at a press conference with Mr Sunak at the Elysee Palace, he said the team had prevented 30,000 small boat crossings and made 500 arrests in the past year.
Mr Sunak said the money would help "put an end to this disgusting trade in human life".
He added: "Working together, the UK and France will ensure that nobody can exploit our systems with impunity."

PERSONALLY I would have small boats armed with small harpoons that would put punctures in the loaded boat's just a few hundred metres off shore .. enough time for a small deflation to get them back to shore but not middle of the channel. Alternatively have small powerful motorboats that will tow them back to shore slowly enough for them not to sink .. the person on the engine/ outboard is usually a member of the gang, or in the gangs pay arrested with a prison term for endangering life at sea and being in charge of an overloaded boat.
These boats come with a weight/ person limit. I had one a fair few years back it said 4 persons / max load 350kgs [ so / or 4 people weighing less than the weight of the outboard from the max load ] it was 10ft long and about 5ft wide seating was 1 .. 2 .. 1
If I had 6 or 7 people in it and one got hurt or drowned HSA would have had me to stone cold to rights!

You’d have armed people on boats <doh><doh>, what if they miss the boats and hit a person on the boat instead, maybe the person may die, then what ? . What if the gangs then also put armed people on other boats?, you really haven’t thought this through have you!!! <laugh><laugh><laugh>

well who said armed people? Yes there would be someone /people on the boat but the harpoon would not be fired by a person ........................ you have a vivid imagination a fully loaded almost on point sinking rubber boat gets a extra crew member or 2 armed with what .. automatic weapons ak47's or Uzi's....... lol
ps HARPOON was probably the wrong term you likely think it would be bow mounted attached to rope with explosive head and weighing about 50kgs ..... and the operative was having a whale of a time!
