True. But they don’t groundshare like we, Wigan, Huddersfield and others do with RL clubs and Swansea, Brentford, Watford etc do with union.

Watched a programme recently about spurs stadium. The football pitch, grass, is moved, to reveal an artificial turf NFL pitch.

Yep, it's crazy how advanced those stadia are. Really shows the potential in modern stadia.

Seems some people think that Spurs type pitches are possible without building fantastically expensive stadiums. Which is why there are hardly any of them.

We provide the funds for them to build their own stadium that better suits their needs. Pretty simple really.

Yeah that's certainly an option too if need be, and looks to be what Acun is trying to achieve with the sports village. I'd still be curious to see how Brentford manage it much more economically than Spurs.

The difference is that it is their stadium and they are deciding to ground share. The MKM isn’t ours, just look at it, the outside is white blue and yellow.

That's true, more talking from the point of view of maintaining the pitch and making it worth their while to groundshare. As suggested above, if done right it does make financial sense.

We?You mean Acun? So he provides funds, which could be spent on City to provide FC with a stadium? Do you think he should pay for the upkeep of it, the maintenance of the pitch, stewarding etc that FC get under the terms of the agreement at the MKM. It would also decrease the income for the SMC if FC were not playing at the MKM.
Simple applies to your thoughts on this.

Ever wondered why the stadium are those colours? They aren’t ground sharing, they hire it out for events.
The MKM isn’t ours yet you are saying we should kick FC out. Do you realise how ridiculous this all sounds?

Does ground sharing cause us that much trouble at this precise moment? The MKM seems like a perfectly good solution for us right now.

The training facilities do need investment and improving the academy facilities seems like a solid investment in our future.

I'd not be thinking about investing in new grounds for us, and certainly not the rugby club, until were a very established PL team selling out every week.

And then I would expect our next ground to be on the moon as quite some time ago I was lead to believe we'd be playing there by now.

The cost of building FC a smaller stadium for them to move into is a hell of a lot cheaper than us building a stadium the size of the MKM for us to use for ourselves. I’m sure a smaller stadium would be cheaper for them to maintain? Otherwise it seems like we are subsidising their costs?

By we of course I meant Hull City/Acun you dweeb

How much would you guess a smaller stadium would cost?

We won't be building FC a new stadium or moving out of the MKM.

And you think FC would agree to move? How would they be made to move if they didn't want to? No one has suggested building a new stadium for City and we, Acun, couldn'y afford to build one anyway, you dweeb.

I would love a new, better designed stadium. But until we get someone involved with around £500 million to spare it won’t happen.
