‘Arry, Poch and Alderweireld’s birthday today. Maybe we should use this date as a required attribute for new signings/ managers to be born on because it’s safe to say those three were certainly positive additions to Spurs!
Scott Parker has been sacked by Brugge after only 12 games. He only managed 2 wins, drawing 6 and losing 4. Scored 13 and conceded 21, neither of which is good enough, frankly. I expect he'll return to England, probably in the Championship. His sides are too dull and he needs to work on that if he's going to succeed.
Not a good day for several ex-Spurs. Lineker in a spot of bother, Kyle Walker making a tit of himself again and now news of Parker getting sacked.
John Humphrys is Welsh. Perhaps he's blocked out the 48 goals Lineker scored for England? Alternatively, it may be because he's a pillock who writes for the Mail.
Wales defender Chris Gunter has retired from international football at the age of 33: https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/64901392 Did **** all for us, obviously, but he's had a pretty respectable career outside of the top flight. Over 300 games for Reading, 600 club games and 109 caps for Wales. Somehow manages less than a goal every 100 games, though!
He's been on the 'wrong' side of most major issues for as long as I can remember. Barely a *** paper between him and Madeley I would suggest. Yet strangely, despite being a BBC political journalist and presenter, he was able to routinely demonstrate his political sympathies without being criticised for impartiality... Now, what could be the reason for that?
