So you admit that your figures are inaccurate? How can you justify your claims, then? Any source that I choose to name would at least be on a par with yours, as at worst they'd both be wrong.
Where has the truth been revealed? You've made claims that you admit aren't accurate. I've pointed out those inaccuracies, you've accepted them and yet you're still trying to claim that you're right. That's clearly ridiculous, even for you. You've named you source, admitted that it's wrong and then still come to the same conclusion! If you want an equally dubious, but slightly less ludicrously wild source, then use transferleague. It still misses out some transfer fees entirely, but at least it doesn't actually miss any transfers altogether.
Thank you for telling me exactly how everyone else will think, but you've failed to apply that logic to your own claims. You've claimed several things on this thread that you don't even think are accurate, so how will they "take your protestations"? Logic isn't your strong point, is it? Your source was inaccurate. You've admitted that it was inaccurate, yet you stand by the claims that you made using that source. This is ridiculous. Why part of what I've claimed are you even disagreeing with? So far it appears that you're just saying that I shouldn't have pointed out how wrong you are, because...? Transfermarkt or the BBC for figures? Frankly it's laughable that you'd go with a site that's been proven to be inaccurate over one that isn't.
Merely stating that something's lame proves nothing. You're embarrassing yourself again. I have shown that your source is incorrect. You claim not to dispute this, yet continue to reference it to come to your conclusion. Do you not see how stupid this is? As I've already asked you twice, what part of what I've claimed are you disputing? You can't even answer that.
I'll go with transferleague's figures. They're imperfect, but they're far more accurate than your source.
Transferleague get their numbers from reliable media sources and update them if they're corrected. Transfermarkt seem to pull them out of their arse, as they're wildly inaccurate for virtually every move. One of transferleague's biggest problems is that they don't put down anything for undisclosed transfers, most of the time. This leads to some clubs missing out on a number of transfer fees in their figures.
I wouldn't mind, but he posted this the other day: http://www.not606.com/showthread.php/99214-To-fellow-spurs-fans..........
