Interesting. Will be curious to see the outcome. Will be massive for us either way, definitely will define what happens with the coach in the summer.

Paratici and Conte both gone in the summer aren’t they.

Will Levy ditch the DoF and give new manager more power and insert himself back into football matters or will he replace Paratici with a like for like.

Unless the appeal is successful? I suspect if Paratici goes then Poch will be higher up the list and I doubt they’ll be very compatible. If Paratici stays then he’ll obviously have a big say in the manager.

So here's the latest weird Narrative I've been hearing: the reason Conte worked last season but not this is because last season we were playing with Conte's system, but the ubermensch's tactics

Absolute gibberish, not least because we spent six months getting the ubermensch's tactics out of the players' heads and muscle memory before Conte arrived - and, if anything, the sort of one-touch passes we used in mid-season pre-season was closer to Nuno's tactics

Conte has now failed to win a Champions League knockout game for over a decade.
He's managed Juve, Chelsea, Inter and Spurs in the tournament in that time.
His last win was against Celtic with Juve in the 12/13 season Round of 16.
They were eliminated in the next round by Bayern 4-0 on aggregate, losing both legs 2-0.

    That's ****ing ****.

in defence of Conte, Munich CL 2012-23 was an utter beast
(I would love Spurs to be able to play like that) .

Yeah, they went on to win it, battering Barca 7-0 in the following round.
Dortmund did well to keep it to a narrow 2-1 loss in the final.

Juve went out in the group the following season, finishing 3rd and dropping into the Europa.
Real finished first and the Italians ended up a point behind Galatasaray.
Draws with the Turks and FC Copenhagen proved costly.
They lost the Europa semi-final to Benfica, who also knocked us out, but lost the final to Sevilla.
Juventus did win the league, though.

His one CL campaign with Chelsea ended in defeat to Barca in the Round of 16.
They drew the home leg 1-1, then lost 3-0 away.
He followed that up in 20/21 by finishing bottom of the group with Inter.
Real topped the group again and Monchengladbach and Shakhtar took 2nd and 3rd.
Inter lost to Madrid twice, drew twice with the Ukrainians and won in Germany.

    Shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit.

Surely Levy has an “oven ready” replacement lined up already?

Jack Pitt-Brooke says Luis Enrique is a lead candidate to replace Conte. Glasner, Amorim and Spaletti also candidates.

Sky are saying Enrique, Poch, Frank, De Zerbi and Silva are contenders. Apparently players and staff are pleading for Poch to return. We're also looking at Sporting Directors.

Sami Mokbel says Levy has no immediate plans to sack Conte but will pull the trigger if top 4 seems unlikely... I mean...

Mokbel's suggesting that, if we lose to Forest, we pull the trigger

Not sure where the talk of Benfica sporting director Rui Pedro Braz being lined up as Paratici’s replacement has gone

Doing very well at Boro, but he should stay there for a while and prove himself.
Already being linked with the Spam, but I think that could go a bit Gerrard/Lampard.
If he can keep learning and succeeding where he is, then he'll learn a lot.

    Id go for Thomas Frank

2nd season and both have been solid

He should bring Toney with him to replace Kane

    we need to start over

I wouldn’t mind giving Europe a miss next season
