****ing hell that's bad. What's next? A cover of Cotton Eye Joe or No Limits with lyrics changed to being about Everton being dogshit?
The constant "thaarrrrrrr-et" the goals "prrrrrrovvved it" There's also you being constant dogshit, the league position proves it
Problem Everton have is everytime they're about to get 3 points that could turn their season around, they **** it up and miss out. Reminds me of us 08/09.
This next weekend looks huge for them ...all the bottom sides have tough games...Everton probably the most winnable. If Eveton lose they've got Chelsea Tottenham man united next 3 . The problem is Everton seem to somehow scrape a couple of wins when they look dead and buried, but sooner or later surely they'll fail to do that and get flushed.
12 games to go and they have 8 of the current top 10 (minus Liverpool and Arsenal) in their next 10 games, with Palace (12th), Leicester (15th) thrown in there within a week (with a mid week game vs us inbetween of them), Wolves and Bournemouth the last 2 games of the season but they could be in desperate need points by then. If you look at the reverse fixtures for all 12 games they managed 6 points (1W vs palace, 3D vs Brentford, Fulham and City) across those 12 games first half of the season and managed 5 goals across them - they could be in big trouble already needing 15-18 points for safety as a best guess...
They were dead and buried last season and somehow escaped.. they defeated arsenal, Newcastle , Man united and drew with City before coming back from 2 down at half time to win vs Palace to stay up They're like a turd that simply will not flush
No investment since then though, and they've lost players. That turd that previously used to cling on tight is now breaking up and losing its hold...
Not so sure they're literally impossible to get rid of. I don't know how they did what they did tinstsy up last year it was am incredibly unlikely tin of results late on... Arsenal won City Drew Man U won Newcastle won with 10 men
I'm a firm believer in reality instead of miracles - ie for years Wigan always had an unbelievable run at the end and stayed up and for years the Mackems always "did the impossible" and managed to stay up...then eventually both went to **** and got relegated. Everton had an amazing first win against Arsenal in the first match, but instead of going on a run, they've been dogshit since then. Their time is coming. Gordon gone, Richalison gone, DCL permanently injured....these days they're just a rabble of overpriced signings who can't play together.
