And you reckon a year long ban and not able to defend the trophy was not long term and a dawning indictment. Thee only time you old firm fans stick together is when you are trying to defend the indefensible.
And you're just being belligerent for the sake of it. Perhaps you could remind our oh-so-perfectly-well-behaved English football fans why their clubs were banned from Europe?
I read this about a week and a half ago, Mendo I think you might have put your clock back too far. Celtic and Rangers fans are all lovely and nice, it was Chelsea and Millwall fans in fancy dress that caused all the problems.
Oh **** this predictive text. Harry where were all the Celtic fans in the early 80's when they were not guaranteed success. Of course you have many glory hunters just like Rangers and Man United.
You have just lost the argument and have resorted to a cop out. The issue here is Rangers and Celtic. Were Rangers banned for a year? A simple yes or no will suffice.
What has Rangers being banned for a year got to do with Celtic and Rangers playing in England. I was merely making the point to slapme that thuggish behaviour is not unique to the Old Firm and it is somewhat hypocritical of English football fans to cite it as an example giving their less than exemplary history.
You just can't do it can you. You cannot answer simply. Pathetic. You need help sonny with your avoidance issues.
The best thread Medro has ever posted and it's a C&P job from the Guardian. Fair do's though Medro, the article has a point. I'm sure Irvine Welsh writes about the Old Firm being suckered into numerous friendlies in the book "Filth"
They would both be mid-table Championship Teams anyway. Never should they be allowed straight in to the EPL...Start from the bottom & work up IF they were allowed. **** em & let em stay up in the ****ing 80's
You must have a great time machine as it was only wrote 3 days ago. I'm not too keen on the EPL and how £ has ruined it, but if the Old Firm were given the same budget as the others then I think they could be up near the top 5 or 6.
Of course, as every one wants to live miles away from everything. Newcastle and Sunderland attract all the big names don't they? No one wants to live in London and earn millions or Manchester and earn millions and win things...
