Zero points for FA Cup matches and you can't get relegated from the FA Cup either. Also shouldn't be included in any statistical analysis as everyone always says may as well lose 10-0 as 1-0 in the Cup
Imagine what it would be like on here if we had lost the F A Cup tie to Fulham 10-0 instead of 2-0, thus I would suggest the above is a flawed argument
The task at hand is to keep us in the division and I'd say we've a good chance if we can tighten things up at the back. Plus it's one goal scored in 2 games. FA Cup irrelevant and I'm glad we're out of it, Summerville injured at Cardiff (out for a month), Rodrigo injured at Accrington (out for 2 months) and now Bamford out after the latest tie at Fulham.
You'd suggest right then Aski. However the FA Cup was an unwanted distractiion and has cost us dearly this season with injuries. Also the ER hierarchy obviously placed zero importance on it as they sacked Marsche even though he never lost a game in the competition whilst at Leeds.
See that Chelsea are 8/11 favs to beat Dortmund tonight in the CL. How can that be as thought Chelsea were there for the taking by everyone
Mr Gruber concurs that he can be a very affable bear unless you mess with his marmalade sandwiches. Pray for Paddy.
But what you posted was factually incorrect, we haven’t failed to score in only one away game and it was against a team that made seven changes from their usual first team.
Evening all. I will preface this by saying that I hope Javi can keep us up. We've not been attractive to watch for quite some time. When we break I'm waiting for someone to mess up by hitting row Z, hoofing a pointless ball forward or across, simply running into someone or, worst of all, passing it straight to an opponent so they can break on us. When we get a set piece in the opponent's half we're more likely to cause ourselves a problem than them. We are using 2 DM so we are limiting our attacking options. McKennie is not a creative player so when either of them win the ball they've got no outlet. Batty would win the ball and give it to Mcallister. We're usually too slow to attack so our opponents have set their 2 lines of 4 before we get near them. Willy is our creative outlet so they close him out of the game, I think that's why Firpo gets more space, everyone's on Gnonto. I worry that Javi continues to play Jack and Aaronsson because the others are even worse. I think, from what I read on here, that Rutter could be the key for us. I really hope so because we need something to change.
I’ll be honest, I think we’re done. We seem to be the only side not picking up the “surprising win”. Do any of you really believe we’ll beat Brighton at the weekend?
