Ubedizzy was a contributing member here for a while, around 18 months/2 years ago I think. Must admit I thought he might be Royston in disguise as his politics seemed quite similar, and he jbegan posting not long after the Sheriff departed. Upon reflection though I accept I was wrong in my suspicions. 'Dizzy left not606 after an argument about politics I think; he got exasperated at all the pops being taken at Boris here if my memory serves. He may not have deleted his membership though. Many of his posts here were interesting and well argued.
He did use the name 'Ubedizzy' I'm pretty sure. Having just checked, I realise now that the name is not currently in use here, so I guess he did delete his membership when he left this forum. Now I give it some thought, it is a curious coincidence that Ubedizzy appeared on ITTV recently shortly after Royston left, just as Ubedizzy appeared on this forum shortly after Royston left. Is one of them Dr Jekyll to the other's Mr Hyde?
Pretty certain Ubedizzy was on at the same time as Royston, but I'm not positive. Not the same though - Ubedizzy was polite and never abrasive.
Yes, I remember that difference. If Ubedizzy and Royston were both here at the same time then I apologise for my faulty memory. I thought the former began posting shortly after I took over the mod position from the latter when he left. Ubedizzy does have more measured style - kind of the way Royston could be if he seriously toned down his truculent approach. I guess they are different people.
The apologists have created a player/fan you'd like to fight thread. I can put Ivor's mind to rest in that I'd not get into any boxing with him. The bigger they are the harder they fall has to be remembered. I would also not want the local council having extensive costs for repair bills to the pavements. 25 stones goes down very heavily.
