Now the dust has well and truly settled, without getting too down and remembering we have only lost to Liverpool and City also season and have the best defence in the league, how do you think it will finish?

    Mine prediction -

    1. City - I think they'll just nick it and beat Arsenal at home to be the difference.
    2. Arsenal - They've shown some big vulnerabilities and are renound for being bottlers.
    3. Man Utd
    4. Liverpool - They look insane up front now, scoring 9 goals against two of the best defences.
    5. Newcastle - I think we'll go on a good run and our defence will lead us to grinding out plenty of 1-0/2-0 wins
    6. Spurs - They'll do enough
    7. Brighton - They'll finish strong
    8. Chelsea
    9. Fulham
    10. Brentford

    1. Arsenal, and deservedly so
    2. City, and they'll fail in the CL as well because they're ****ing boring
    3. Liverpool, huge turnaround and will win every game give or take
    4. Man U, just about, the Liverpool game will be enough of a kick but they aren't great so won't win as many as L'pool
    5. Spurs, better strength in depth than Newcastle and already 4 points ahead of us
    6. Newcastle, I think we'll improve but I'm still being optimistic based on the squad and Howe's history
    7. Brighton, but not by much and are a big worry, play better than we do
    8. Chelsea, should win more than they lose but the Leeds win wasn't great either
    9. Villa, hit & miss but better squad than Fulham
    10. Fulham, just a bit more bite than Brentford who may yet have no Toney for the run in

Newcastle finishing 9th or 10th really isn't out the question yet

Arsenal winning is wishful, but I think they can do it after seeing them grind out results like the win against Bournemouth on Saturday.

I think Liverpool's recent results will give them a springboard to finish 4th. Spurs always have a crap result around the corner, and I think we can nick 5th from them.

Think Arsenal will hold on. Game against Man City will be crucial. Important for Arsenal not to lose.

Liverpool I think will grab 4th spot as they begin to re model their side.

We will rally and pick points up against the teams lower down and Wilson gets some fitness back and Isak to get a run of games.

Your's is same as mine just with Chelsea and Fulham twiddles around. Can't see Chelsea having a turnaround tbh, they look godawful, even 8th is a stretch for them.

I know. Its because I mainly agree with you but I think Chelsea have the players and will eventually get the balance right.

I do think Potter is a good coach and given time he will sort them out.

Potter is clearly decent, but has had no option to build his own team and players, and has a whole load of mega-buys with huge egos thrust upon him at Chelsea. I really can't see Potter working out at Chelsea, but he's certainly about to dust himself off and succeed at another club.

I based it on looking at the remaining fixtures and who is 'likely' to pick up points from which games.

    2 big caveats:

    1. A lot of the teams play each other (for instance, Chelsea have just 13 games remaining and 7 are against the teams currently above them, while Liverpool have a run of playing City, Chelsea, Arsenal in a row) so this will all have a massive impact.

    2. My predictions are probably crap.

    But here goes...

    1. Arsenal
    2. Man City
    3. Man United
    4. Liverpool
    5. Spurs
    6. Brighton
    7. Newcastle
    8. Chelsea
    9. Brentford
    10. Fulham

To be fair, I did predict (to MadMag) there was no chance you'd all meet up at 10am in Newcastle to get cup final tickets before the Liverpool game...
