Surprised someone hasn’t said if your goalie is man of the match in a home game the manager needs to get things sorted out.<laugh>

It will be low to mid 40's again to stay up. Nobody is really finding consistent form at the bottom and teams like QPR and Birmingham are sleep walking into a dog fight

I agree. To get to 46 the three at the bottom each need to win at least five more games. Can’t see it at all, Warnock and McCarthy are busted flushes, Wigan are only half a decent team. I can see the current bottom three all going down with about 40-42 points each.

Posted about that the other day, saying we could move up a place without playing.

Six points apparently, to add to the six points from the last season. Basically, from what I gather, they've failed to supply the suits with some financial evidence the suits requested and which Reading promised to supply. This is the second time. Sounds as if they'll get off lightly with just the six!!

Peterborough, who finished 4 points behind Reading, are talking of sueing for recompense for financial losses as a result of their relegation. One which they wouldn’t have suffered if the further 6 points had been deducted and not held over and then Reading failed to keep their end of the agreement,

In all seriousness, having Simons show he's capable of deputising for Seri should show us that next season we can manage Seri's minutes more than we have been doing, meaning we can use him more like Fulham did. Connolly can come in for Longman or Tufan with Tufan pushing centrally and replacing Slater, Pelkas I guess replacing Docherty but that's a bit more 50/50 depending on form.

Generally, the 40 point mark is only for the Premier League, in the EFL it's usually 50, though there have been exceptions as already posted. I think it was Peterborough who went down with 52 and Walsall a few seasons before that went down with more than 50.

I can't see us rapidly dropping between now and May, we should be aiming for the top ten now, which would be just rewards for the turnaround we've seen under Rosie.

Whether we can keep him over the Summer, well. That's an entirely different conversation.
