Gakpo really starting to look a player in this team. Still not sure what position is best in but it seems like him and Nunez can interchange a lot depending on the opposition. If the RB is speedy, can use gakpos dribling to cut inside. If slow, can use Nunez pace out there. The 2 finishes by gakpo were quality today. First was just classic inside forward and the second was a guy that ozzing confidence. Best part of the game was Salah absolutely destroying Martinez for that assist though Or when Salah just did 3 United players on the half way line with some control then a drag back. Was like watching Salah of 2 years ago. Seemed like he wanted that prem record today

It’s a shame not one of them is left footed to be a replacement for Salah but gakpo Nunez diaz looks a tidy front 3. Jota can also use both feet when comes to finishing so could go that side. Saying that, Salah on todays form should be good for few years if can keep that up! I think given amount of game time no issue with how much each will get. Diaz will be brilliant in those games where it’s right and can use actual skill t go past someone. Something we lack in the other 4 forwards atm. When we had the front 3, we alwsys said the drop off i quality was big and we got lucky they avoided big injuries. Now we have that cover to cope
Antony is rapidly turning into another Richarlison in my book. Both have annoying attitude and very punchable faces - and I'm a non-violent person.

That was effectively the criticism of him at Ajax where various ex Dutch players felt he didn't have the temperament to appeal to us or Man City as a potential signing. Having said that, I had my doubts about Gakpo too.
I've seen a lot more of both players and I know Antony is the better footballer. One performance today in an all-round good Liverpool performance won't change that.
