A couple who might do welll at Huntingdon tomorrow, Sunday:

    (14:25) Cloudy Wednesday
As long as the gelding has recovered from his exertions 5-days ago, the son of Cloudings will take all the beating in this weaker-looking race. Same conditional jockey, Lewis Stones (5), on board for the Wymondham stable of dual P2P/Rules trainer Caroline Fryer.
7/2 (Wm.Hill/BetVictor) best price at time of writing.

    (16:10) Ratoute Yutty
Hopng this will be a double on the day for trainer and rider. Has the form to do well in this event. Lewis Stones (5) takes the ride again for the Caroline Fryer stable.
14/1 (Bet365/PP) best price at time of writing. E/W best option

I had to laugh at the hard working journalist writing the synopsis for the runners on tomorrow's card at Wexford on the Sporting Life website who gives the reader some very useful and enlightening information when describing to us that the "trainer is going well" when writing about the 2/9 Willie Mullins trained favourite.

As Ted Hastings would say from Line Of Duty, "Mother Of God"!

Pretty low key action from this side of the pond today. Looking through the cards it is very difficult to be bullish about almost anything.

Noel Meade had a nice winner off a lay-off in Dundalk Friday and I think he could have one with a good chance in the shape of Jerandme 6/1 in the 16:55 in Leopardstown. This horse is a nice fun one to own as he is versatile on the track. Sometimes I am not sure if having those sorts is a good or bad thing but at least you will get a variety of days out at flat and jumps tracks, potentially more money to be won. Anyway, back on track, I think he represents a small bit of value after having a pipe opener on the flat recently. He has a few lbs to find with some of his rivals but he was 2nd in this race to Discordantly last year and Noel Meade is a shrewd operator who hopefully has this targeted for Jeranmde for a while.

Some fine place bets today, Pilgrim, well done, a darn good profit I'd say.

For myself, really should have stuck a notice on the office door entitled "Closed For Renovations". A 5-day break was just not enough for poor old Cloudy Wednesday, out on his 'feet' at the end of the race. The other one was out with the washing. Oh well, battle-on, there's always tomorrow, or the day after!

Disputing the lead until falling 2 out and left the stage door open for stable mate Lieutenant Command to come and claim the race. Had the right trainer at least <doh>
