If the tax case goes against us, he's a raging cert to go in January. If he goes, and with Naisy out for the rest of the season, we could really struggle for goals next year.
Regardless of the tax case, Whyte has already stated that you'll have to make £7m of savings so someone's going to have to be sold and Jelavic is the most salable asset now that Naismith is long-term injured.
If we need to make 7M worth of savings why is Ally under the assumption he has money to spend in january...
lemonface is on a 1 year contract. they wont have to pay him much. no as much as mogga anyway <ouch> £2 mil to sign him and £2 mil to sack him
Chances are they are gonna need to pay compensation to someone as well, unless they want McGhee or Burley or some ****.
I think they'll stick with the bitter one at least til may. He's had a shocking start but they're getting better.
Mogga didn't get a lump sum for getting sacked... he was put on gardening leave and continued to earn a slary. He then had to quit to take the Middlesborough job, meaning he got **** all in way of compensation (other than a few months salary). Smart move Lawwell!
I'm not sure where the £7m figure came from. I read it on a few sites. But Whyte did say Rangers would have to make savings in an interview with STV news so I don't see how Ally thinks there is going to be money to strengthen.
In an interview with STV news a few weeks ago. I think it was the same night as the BBC expose went out.
exposé craig whyte the super villain. never payed the wages once and directed a company without a license throw away the key!!!
Probably because whyte has told him there is money to strengthen more recently than the STV interview i might say.
