I know it’s unusual to beat us, but steady on I’d hate for you to have a heart attack <laugh>

    Ma
Mate, I was referring to the fact we built it on the basis of getting promoted... Nothing to do with the length of stay... 1st world (or rather 1st division in old money) problems only older Robins would understand.

As for unusual to beat you lot... Hmmm.... The last 20 years have pretty much been our golden age against you. Last season was a massive blip for us and very much an outlier based on previous results, so today was very much normal service resumed for us thankfully.

Now we just need to set the record straight against our neighbours our neighbours out West after sorting our noisy neighbours from the East :emoticon-0105-wink:

I’m afraid to say I’m old enough to remember our first division days, we did manage to stay a few seasons though, unlike your lot :emoticon-0105-wink:

I thought you had your ground extended to host that euro cup final didn’t you? Then Wales football started using you rather than travelling round grounds?

The backlash from my post about not putting in a shift was well founded and I was probably suffering from the full anaesthetic that I had yesterday so I'm still a bit muffled. My intention was to say that we huffed and puffed a lot but got almost nothing from our efforts and the last bit of our motions never quite came off. I missed the first 15 minutes as I missed the wake up time and being conscious at 4:30 am after my yesterday was a call beyond my capability. Our game today was just one of those days where you could have spent all day out there and still not scored, but we did look light up front as the final pass went astray. Some players did try and hold on to the ball too long at times which dented the flow of our game which meant that our overall performance has to be considered below par. The unbeaten run had to end but not against a poor Cardiff side but to be honest they took their chances and we didn't, so fair play to them. Put it in the memory bank and move on the next match with gusto and hopefully a better end product.

Bottom line Cardiff deserved the win.
Williams then Kalas getting injured changed the game.
We wasted chances before they were injured-goals win games they scored two.
We were fully in control until then.

Do you know I care about the way were beaten but I don't give a toss it was Cardiff, the fact is we got beat by a fellow Championship side after an acknowledged positive performance against Man City the number 1 team in the land is a dissapointment, good luck to Cardiff, they won, they have gained 3 points to help their relegation battle, let them crow, we have another battle against Huddersfield and a certain Mr Warnock, we should be concentrating our support on that game and hopefully continue our tough climb up the table despite our growing injury list.

I like a good crow now and again......<laugh>

For what it's worth, I sincerely hope you beat Huddersfield on Tuesday - but then again I'd hope whoever they were playing the same.

you are not out of the fire yet OS, but in hearth almost! 1 of 7 teams in danger of being roasted! WIGAN could be the houdini! ... The 3 point gap bodes well for Swansea ..

James was, as against Man City, our best player again yesterday.

Trouble for us now is our best defenders, Kalas and Atkinson, are out for a long time. Naismith and Williams, crucial players for us are also out for some time.

We look incredibly thin on the ground.

It looks like we didn’t do enough business in Jan. It was always a risk, as Williams and Kalas have been very injury prone over the last 2 seasons. Atkinson and Naismith is unfortunate, but all teams have injuries, and managers have to deal with it. We had money from the Semenyo deal, but NP didn’t spend it, I hope that doesn’t come back to bite us.
I guess King will drop into CB with Weimann dropping into midfield.

Can we apply for an emergency CB loan signing given our significant injury list ?

    No.

You can apply for an emergency keeper though - and from the way your guy let in our second, looks like you need one......<laugh>

Hey RoD, yep that's correct, the Ninian stand was extended for the European Super Cup to be held, but our owner also had designs on promotion too.

Problem now of course is after a few years back in the Championship, all the new fans we gained drifted away and stagnating doesn't help...

<laugh>....it's not actually. We scored 3 up at Middlebrough and at Wigan to win both those games. At home has been our problem.

Your point is right enough though - we've given opposition keepers a very easy ride this season.
