Was done when we didn't do the right business in January. It's insulting to anyone with a football brain to think that we could try to invent total football with youth. 1 point out of 12 and shipping goals. Not good. Going to be some slog till May.
Agree maté absolutely crying out for some experience, Stoke are ****ing ****e and have just run us over on our own patch not good enough, no where near
I do praise our young uns, that team selection was wrong against what everyone expected to be a very physical game. Like you say we are all entitled to our opinions.
I left after the 3rd goal went in 43,000 to watch that shocking, pathetic back to the dark days kids vs men this policy will never work, Mowbray out on Monday for starters Di canio back in, or we are going straight back down Jalelika 40 years old ? and our worst ever home defeat at the SOL, we should stop up mind.
Honestly starting Pritchard today in midfield. What the hell was Mowbray thinking? If ever there was a game for someone like Ekwah this was it. I also have no idea where Roberts was meant to be playing first half. I don’t think he did either
Taxi for Mowbray? Anyone want him in charge next season? I would fancy Stoke ahead of us next season. Bart
Exactly sick of saying it. But apparently I'm negative and have no faith in the squad lol . Was ****ing obvious this was going to happen we already had the warning. That all being said no excuse from the **** show that did play today, all of them were shocking
We've gone from a team that was more than the sum of its parts to one with no solidity at all. Not competing in too many parts of the field. We need a refresh with the likes of Ba, Ekwah and Bennette getting a game. Ha, I've just re-read your comment and seen the bit about experience.
We've got everything wrong today, there's nothing at all to praise and our current form is definitely concerning. The timing is more of an issue than anything else. Most would have taken mid table at the start of the season, but it's going to feel like a massive let down when it happens now. Mowbray has got a lot wrong recently, but I feel like playing a lot of youngsters for a lot of minutes all season, this was perhaps inevitable anyway at some point. We've made a decision as a club to take this approach and so far it's been more successful than not, so there's no point getting on the players' back. The nature of being sustainable means that we're not always going to have the tools we need in the squad. I'd have liked to see Matete in there today, maybe that was a misstep by Speakman. We've certainly looked light in midfield since Evans got injured. Joffy up front with the 3 behind isn't working because Amad and Roberts like to keep hold of the ball and Joffy needs it releasing early. It looks like combination of poor scouting and poor tactics. Then trying to fit Pritchard in as well as Amad and Roberts is a recipe for disaster. We need to pick a team that works together, not squeeze our best players onto the pitch at the same time.
Look at our bench today. Kids galore. No wonder Neil ****ed off, he wanted some experience and definitely didn’t get it.
Bag of ****e. Time for Mowbray to earn his money and get some backbone in the team. The slow starts were his warning all wasn’t well and he didn’t react. Putting faith in the kids is one thing, blind faith that leads to getting pasted is good for no one. Next few games will show if we need a new coach in the summer.
