You constantly pick fault yet give him another season and a half, by which time we hopefully have signed another five or six top players. Either support him properly or not. Take the chances and we draw today, not his fault there. He didn’t tell Pope to get sent off. Some things he might have changed with hindsight but can be said by any manager. If we took the draw we should have today is Pep getting written off?
Not sure what you saw but everyone has their own opinion. Clean and efficient though are just words. Other than one fluffed shooting chance Gordon did nothing of note.
Need to try something different. I fully expect us to get back on track but things need to change formation/selection wise.
He missed a big chance but apart from that he was getting the ball and finding passes throughout. Max just runs around losing the ball. I would make a case that both should play actually... today any player that did OK played very well.
He did to be fair but let's not get carried away. He needs gone in the summer. We need to be ruthless if we are going to the next level.
I dunno how it's a confusing notion that a person can view fault in what someone did in a match, but not want them sacked. Like, yeah, we will finish 8th and I want Howe to stay and I want NUFC to sign 6 players to reinforce his squad. Here is the thing, one day, NUFC will sack Eddie Howe. Now I don't think some fans are prepared for that day, because we won't be sacking a manager for getting us into a relegation dogfight, we will be sacking a manager for NOT getting to a cup final or into the top 7. There is a transition people need to make in brains that we aren't just some **** show club anymore and need to start evaluating like the top clubs do.
Almiron should be dropped for a few weeks and let Murphy play. I also think Willock, Gordon and Isak should be starters now and we should stop twiddling with our cocks-
The question we got to ask ourselves is... How many of these players will be good enough to be in our team in 2 years time? The likes of Almiron will surely only be squad players with Murphy and Lascelles a distant memory hopefully.
At some point all managers get sacked or throw in the towel unless they are mega successful so your insight isn’t really very revealing. We all know this. You do over criticise Howe though. Time will tell how successful he is but atm he’s fighting a tough battle against the money teams and doing a great job. Could he do better sometimes? Of course but that’s true of anyone.
