Biggest disappointment about that lineup for me is Danjuma not getting a start. We’ll let Son and Richarlison let us down week after week, as well as bring in Lucas midweek despite years of mediocrity from him but not give someone else a chance. Just no logic in that for me. Getting the exact treatment Gil got and yet whenever Gil played he largely impressed. End of season can’t come soon enough.
Can only imagine it’s to try and get that back three used to one another before Milan, maybe wrong but not sure we’ve seen Romero play directly alongside Lenglet, pretty sure Dier or Sanchez (or Tanganga?) have played RCB when Lenglet has played CCB. That or Stellini’s finally had enough Dier.
This is also Porro’s first game with Romero so we might see a better performance from him. Had to play alongside a rusty Tanganga on his debut and Sanchez on his second start, would like to see us actually get our WBs into crossing situations, don’t think Porro’s managed a cross in either of his two games yet, it’s meant to be one of his strengths and generally what you want from a WB.
Half expecting Alasdair Gold or Dan Kilpatrick to mention he's ill ...because like hell am I going to use Twitter search to look up any mention of Eric Dier, as that'll drop me into a nest of gibbering simpletons
I wonder if Diego Costa will get one of about 10 red cards he's owed against us? Probably not. The ****. Never sent off in the league while he was at Chelsea.
