Exactly what i thought, probably a load of bollocks.. im sure it was on the sack race but it appears to not be there now.
Covering my back from what? i announced on TV that i wanted Mclaren as our manager? Ex-City player, good manager, generally like the guy..
Because it's the odds on the next manager, not the odds on them being the manager tomorrow or on any specific date so there's no need for a current vacancy. There's just a need for a lot of people to think it's going to be them, to put money on them, and the bookies adjust their odds to ensure a profit. I bet long before Ally McCoist was confirmed as Rangers "next" manager the odds were much lower than 2/1 even though Walter Smith was still the manager.
you will get roy keane or that peedo who managed cardiff lee clark wont leave hudders and surely you dont want billy (snotter) davis his nasal display on sky last season makes me heave just to think about it
What people outside the city don't seem to realise is that City are Mclaren's 'club'. I would love him here and I get the impression he'd love to be here, it's just whether he gets the offer.
I think McLaren was stitched up at Forest. I'd be happy to see him given a go here, I'm not saying it would be hugely successful or the opposite either. He's another one who knows Fergie well so it might help us get some choice Utd cast-offs. I think whoever we get we have to support the manager, we've got to give them a go which includes letting them have a decent settling in period. Not just moronic slagging off like TWF.
You sound like a TV pundit, in fact in my eyes that is what you are now. Our very own TV pundit. Dave Jones for me , if it's Dowie or heaven help us Laws I'll be mortified.
i would ****ing hate it. he's one of the worst managers. you can't respect a guy like that, he's too soft and weak. You just want to laugh at him.
