Of course! Everything is a conspiracy. Actually my favourite conspiracy theory is the bonkers idea that the Dark Ages didn't happen and a few hundred years got skipped from the timeline. While mad, it's in some ways more plausible than the non-going to the moon thing, the flat earth thing, the 9/11 thing or the Diana thing.
Indeed. Wish it was like the Bielefeld thing, which doesn't exist and isn't in Germany (although I've been there a few times, apparently lots of people in Germany think it doesn't).
PSG are facing two investigations. The first is for Achraf Hakimi, their right-back, who is accused of rape. He tried to hook up with someone while his wife was away in Dubai with their kids. She's claimed that he tried to rape her and his missus appears to have ****ed him off completely. The second is Nasser Al-Khelaifi, their chairman, who has been accused of kidnap and torture. This happened to a lobbyist in Qatar, apparently. Lovely club.
A Chelsea fan has been given a three year ban from football for a racist gesture to Son. This was in the game at the Bridge last year and I'm pretty sure it got lots of press. Not sure stopping him from watching that load of **** is a punishment right now, but ok.
1. A conspiracy by definition must exist for there to be a "conspiracy theory" . 2. What would be the rationale for wiping centuries of physical historical record from the European time line ??
Moises Caicedo has signed a new deal with Brighton. It runs until 2027 and the club have the option for a further year. Bit surprised at that, given the interest that's being shown in him. Good for them.
PEC Zwolle are top of the Dutch 2nd tier and they faced 17th place Den Bosch yesterday. They matched a national scoreline record, beating the visitors 13-0. No red cards or anything, just an absolute hammering: 7-0 down after 31 minutes, including a 12 minute hat-trick by their Greek striker, who got 4 in total. Apostolos Vellios has spent time on the books of Everton, Blackpool and Forest. Scored for the Toffees against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge in 2011.
Hoping Man city can do us a favour and beat Newcastle in the 'State Controlled Sports Washing Derby' at lunchtime.
AFAIK, 'State Controlled Sports Washing' in Arabic is pronounced : Al-Jazeera. < don't quote me on that, though >
On that theme, I note that the KO is 12:30 UK time. A fixture KO of 17:00 caters for USA "west coast" audiences. 12:00 UK time is 15:00 "middle east" time.
12pm UK time is also 8pm Hong Kong and Shanghai Can't think why cities with particularly lucrative betting cultures would want a Premier League match on a Saturday evening...
Just the sort of friend you need: someone who comes to your aid immediately after five other people have already done so
Brighton's third goal today is a masterclass in movement, understanding and anticipation. We need to get on the blower to De Zerbi and their entire scouting team pronto. Time for a new Italian.
De Zerbi was linked a month or so ago The obvious point there is whether or not he's the reason for Brighton's form, or like various Swansea managers they have a top-to-bottom system and he's basically the figurehead
