Thing is, that Burnley side looked proper ****. Can’t imagine the dressing room was a happy place after that game. Beri Pardo is a nice fella though, had a chat with him during the second half.
I seem to remember last season we thrashed them 5 or 6-0, which sounds like their academy is not the strongest.
It isn’t really, like us they never really put the work into improving it when in the Premier League. We at least realised the mistake and managed to attain Category 2, but given how long they were up there for, there should be much more there than there is.
Didn't they build a new training ground, which I would have thought would have accommodated the younger teams?
