One day at a time, sweet Jesus Thats all I'm asking of You Just give me the strength to do everyday What I have to do Yesterday's gone, sweet Jesus And tomorrow may never be mine God help me today Show me the way One day at a time
A country standard, the great Kris Kristofferson wrote it which I didn't know till now, everyday is a school day!
Similar type of Irish singers covered it,I like this one Dropkick me, Jesus, through the goalposts of life End over end, neither left, nor the right Straight through the heart of them righteous uprights Dropkick me, Jesus, through the goalposts of life Think @monacoger does a good version of "It's Five O'Clock Somewhere"
Tunas brood used to sing this up Scotstoun flats. O ye cannae fling pieces oot a twenty-story flat, Seven-hundred hungry weans will testify to that, If it's butter, cheese or jeely, if the breid is plain or pan, The odds against it reaching earth and ninety-nine to one. source: https://www.lyricsondemand.com/u/unknownlyrics/jeeliepiecesongskyscraperweanlyrics.html
Painting. Might take my camera to Waitrose car park as there’s a murmuration every evening about 5pm at this time of year.
Did you watch Landscape Artist of the year? Watched the final last night and hope to see you participating next year.
The murmuration flew down quite low right in front of my house just as I arrived home. I'll be ready with the camera tomorrow. Quite an eery noise they make as they turn the sky dark. Some geezer who lives near me filmed them and was on the BBC news but he's only got a 300mm lens. I have 600mm of telephoto power.
Get them at fuddy's house regularly. Very impressive. Don't think I could put a number on how many. Always starlings.
