He will leave as a legend in my eyes. As you say, it's the right time though :(

That's really upset me. He's been my favourite player since he arrived. Thought he may sign up to a pay as you play type deal. As Klopp says, Bobby is the heart and soul of the team. He will leave as an absolute legend. Si Señor will get a few good airings between now and the end of the season. Hoping for at least one no-look goal from him too.

Not a surprise as we've obviously made new signings to replace him, but still feels like the end of an era.
Although he was one of Brendan Rodgers' last signings, he was one of the biggest parts of Klopp's revolution. Not so much valued amongst many rival fans that failed to see his importance to the team, but hugely appreciated amongst Liverpool fans and by those in the media that mattered

Just gonna throw in this clip from Sunday Supplement to underline that.

We've found out this season in particular how difficult it is to replace prime Firmino.

    Best of luck to him

As Peter Crouch said (funny person to quote, I know) "If you watch the game you don't see Firmino. If you watch Firmino you see the whole game".

Good player. Still shows his usefulness at times and breaks apart the opposition when younger stars can't. It's necessary to move in the next generation though.

I will say, I remember Firmino's first few months with us. I thought he looked lazy and uncommitted. Boy, did he change my opinion over the years. Turned into a great player with a great attitude and a real hard worker too.

Rodgers bought him but Klopp built him... Star player that will be remembered for many years.

it's a case of best wishes and thanks for everything.

then turn round and focus on what we need to do happily enough.

we need to realign our forwards and have been doing so for 2 seasons.

firmino I thought had beaten the injuries but they are back now after a good run earlier in season. gakpo is the replacement just like diaz was for mane.

What a footballer ... magical. I think 17/18 was just something else - goals, assists, magic, joy, skill ... he had everything.

It's been a while since we saw prime Bobby but he was an immense servant for the club.

    Great quote
Wonderful player who clearly loved the club and his time here. Let's hope he leaves us a few more great memories before he departs. Wish him nothing but happiness
    He's a legend for me

He was the linchpin of our most potent attack in a long time. I honestly think Mo's (relative) loss of form has had a lot to do with Bobby's absence. He goes with our thanks, and I hope he finds somewhere to squeeze out a couple more years at a decent level.

The interplay between that front 3 at its best was a thing of beauty with Bobby at its heart .

That front 3 of Mane, Bobby and Mo is one of the all time great attacks IMO. And I still don't think they get the credit they deserve.

Said big piece on transfer thread.

Brilliant player. Not unsung, but still maybe under appreciated by others because they compare him to Salah and mane. Much like anyone that played with heskey wkll te you what a brilliant partner was, I think mane/Salah will say much of their goals will be owed to firmino.

Hes the one player that is probably synonymous with klopps Liverpool when it comes to style.

If he does go then think every lfc fan will wish him well and hope he moves to a club that will appreciate him as we do.

No player on record in the Premier League (from 2006-07) has been booked more times for excessive celebration than Roberto Firmino (5).

Can’t remember him being sent off for us either? Despite the numerous times he’d give a player a bump if they beat the first press to give away a good tactical foul.
