    Well, if the world is reliant on Ukraine for all those things, they should learn to diversify and get other countries to grow some of the grain. It is a bit like Ireland only growing potatoes back in the day, they should have diversified and grown other crops.

    As the only Irish person of color on this thread I assume @Ciaran is the only one that knows what he's talking about when it comes to The Republic of Ireland.

    If he deems it a topic to discuss on a British politics thread then we should take his word for it

    I haven't even read much of the details of it, but we both said at the start it is impossible for NI to be treated like the rest of the UK and not have a hard border with the Republic. If there was a hard border then every ex sniper and their dog gets their old jobs back!
